Mix | Shaq AKA DJ Diesel Delivers Exclusive TomorrowWorld Mix
Posted by Juicebox on July 17, 2015
Earlier this week, TomorrowWorld unveiled its complete 2015 lineup, which was an impressive group of artists which featured the usual suspects like Hardwell, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, amongst others. One of the most surprising, and unexpected, names on the lineup was the 4x NBA Champion, Shaquille O’Neal, who will be playing TomorrowWorld under his DJ alias, DJ Diesel. The ex-Laker has taken to SoundCloud ahead of his set at TomorrowWorld to give us a little preview of what to expect when he takes the stage in Chattahoochee Hills, and it seems like we’ll be getting a special trap set from DJ Diesel. His hour-long mix flies through some of the biggest trap hits of the year, featuring artists like Skrillex, Flosstradamus, Diplo, and much more. You can check out, and download, the mix above, and you can snag a ticket to TomorrowWorld here to check out DJ Diesel’s TomorrowWorld debut.

Progressive House | Martin Garrix and Tiesto Release “Only Way Is Up” on Musical Freedom
Posted by BIGLIFE on May 4, 2015
Here at FreshNewTracks.com, we’re not big on progressive house. Why you ask? Because it’s wanna-be top 40 recycled ghost-produced garbage. This new Martin Garrix and Tiesto collaboration out today on Musical Freedom is straight fire. We first heard it at Ultra in Miami, and couldn’t wait for the release date. Now it’s here and Spinnin’ Records has been kind enough to release the video. I’d rag on the awkward Tiesto cameos, but it’s not worth it. This “Only Way Is Up” single is a big ole’ tune.
Progressive House | Dekagram Goes Big On Bootleg Of “The Only Way Is Up” By Tiësto & Martin Garrix

Hot off the coattails of Tiësto and Martin Garrix’s “The Only Way is Up” announcement comes a bootleg that’s here to soak up some of the spotlight, and rightfully so. Dekagram, an ATL native looking to make a name for himself in the realm of progressive house, dropped his version of the Dutch boys unreleased single yesterday, and it’s turning some heads. His version takes on the same premise as the original, but he really lets the beast out, and that’s a change we can whole-heartedly welcome. From start to finish, Dekagram lets the floodgates wide open with high powered synth leads, a hard driving bass-line, and tasteful use of the originals vocal cuts.
For those who don’t feel like there’s enough “umpf” coming from Tiësto n’ Garrix’s version, this will definitely do the trick. Dekagram is making big strides of improvement in his productions, which just makes us that much more excited for whatever he’s got cooking up next. In the meantime you can enjoy his “Only Way Up” bootleg as a freebie!

House | Zeds Dead & Oliver Heldens – You Know (Original Mix)

Oliver Heldens and Zeds Dead’s much anticipated release “You Know” is out now on Spinnin’ Records, and it’s a blend of that UK Future house sound with progressive house vocals made popular by Zeds Dead. Already supported by the likes of Avicii, David Guetta, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, and more, I’m actually excited to hear who was selected for the remix package, so much work can be done with those vocals! This is a must listen and a must download!
