Hip-Hop | Goone, Mac Miller, & Pusha-T | Hip-Hop

Above are the visuals for Goone’s Hypnotized. The video itself came out great, but I wish he chose a different song off his Grapefruit Starship mixtape, which is a must have for those of you that are into the electro-hop genre. You can get it here. Below is some new Mac Miller, which is off the 2011 XXL Freshman mixtape. I’m not sure what the deal is with the messed up cut right at the beginning of the track, but the song itself is dope.

Here is another sick song off the 2011 XXL Freshman mixtape.

This is what I like to call “rainy day music”.

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller – Futuristic Funk

Here’s some brand spankin’ new Mac Miller. This is a leak off DJ Whoo Kidd’s XXL’s 2011 Freshman Class: The Mixtape, which is scheduled to release tomorrow afternoon. Don’t worry though, there is only one Whoo Kidd tag on this track and its right at the beginning.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Mac Miller “Donald Trump” | VIDEO

Posted by on March 4, 2011

Last night, Mac Miller dropped the above visuals for “Donald Trump,” the first single off his forthcoming mixtape, Best Day Ever. The video, directed and produced by Rex Arrow Films, is quite impressive (the lighting is ill). Filmed in a New York City loft, the video opens with images of the New York skyline (hell yea).

The buzz around this kid truly is insane. Watch out for #BESTDAYEVER, dropping in a mere seven days. Oh, and if you missed the download when Mach originally posted it, here it is again:

BONUS:

Snoop Dogg has released the second official single off his soon-to-drop album, Doggumentary. The track, feauting T-Pain, is entitled, “Boom.” Sampling Yaz’s 80’s hit, “Situation,” producer Scott Storch helps create an infectious track.

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller – “She Said (prod. Khrysis)” | Hip-Hop

Mac MIller is an animal. He just dropped this track which just so happens to be a cut off his upcoming mixtape, Best Day Ever. In true Mac Miller fashion, he keeps the vibe “chill”. When I got it the genre was labeled as MOSTDOPE and you know what? I have to agree. Release date for the new mixtape is March 11th, which may end up being the BEST DAY EVER.

Hip-Hop | Jay Sinificance, Mac Miller, U-N-I, and Jamal | HIP-HOP

CRIKEY this sketchy, black cat loving, awkward looking white boy takes speed rapping to a new level. I mean he gives Twista and MGK a serious run for their money. Is it me or could he basically just say whatever he wanted and still make it sound good?

Jay Sinificance – Right Back At You (Prod. Havoc)

Mac Miller ft Young Scolla – Winner

U-N-I feat. BJ the Chicago Kid – Muddy Jane

Jamal – Be Mine

Hip-Hop | CHILL RAP | Mac Miller, Webby (gasp!) and The Higher Concept

According to Mac Millers twitter (and his comment before his verse), he basically landed in CA and immediately recorded this track yesterday with Juicy J. Kid is straight up killing it. I feel badly for Webby, he’s the only rapper from this original circle who really hasn’t made it, weird. I guess I’ll throw him a bone and post the Starry Eyed remix off his recent mixtape haha. Lastly, I’ve included a new joint from The Higher Concept. The initial verse is a little awkward, but the hook made up for it and carried my ears through. Definitely keeping this one on the pod (check out their other FNT mentions here)

The Higher Concept – Toast to Life (prod. by J. Glaze)

Videos | Mac Miller, Jacking Beats?

I just peeped this over at Barstool. What up El Pres? It seems that Mac Miller didn’t credit Up North production on “La La La”. In the music world, you’ve got to give credit where credit is due. If I were those producers, I would have handled it differently though. I gather three things from this situation. One, it makes Mac Miller’s management look incompetent. I mean common, how hard is it to make sure that the producers are credited on the album art? That’s like writing a term paper and not citing your sources. Of course your professor is going to call you out. Up North claims that tried multiple times to contact to him but had no luck. Secondly, it looks bad on Mac Miller to blatantly lie. The e-mails don’t lie. It was clear from the video that Mac Miller knowingly received the track. There’s no disputing that. Third, the producers also look bad. Chasing him down with a video camera looks desperate at best. Even though I’ve never even heard of these guys, they still deserved the credit. This is Fresh New Tracks telling you, everyone lost in this situation. Hit the jump to see who I think Mac needs to hire to do his PR.
