Dubstep | Trivecta’s “Labyrinth” Boasts Some Of The Best Cinematic Bass Can Offer

Posted by on August 8, 2016

With an almost My Chemical Romance like intro, Trivecta creates an experimental, rough-around-the-edges, semi-emo bass track that will surely capture a wide span of electronic music fans across EDM scene, via “Labyrinth (feat. Miyoki)”. Video game fans will dig this, bass heads will love it, those who enjoy a cinematic-like quality to their tunes, right there with them.

The Trivecta trip captures via “Labyrinth (feat. Miyoki)” is a mecca of detail, strong design, and a little bit of indescribable magic that strikes during peak intensity with this one. Trivecta is not to be messed with.

Australian producer Taka Perry just released “Slow” and it’s a must listen. Featuring the vocals of Jordi Davis, “Slow” contains hauntingly beautiful vocals, a catchy melody, and brilliant synth work – creating something that is a must add to your summer playlists. From the artist himself, “”Slow” is about delusions, fantasies, and figments of imagination. I think of it as a love song with a dark, deranged twist. It’s about not being able to find what you’re looking for, so instead creating a fictional version of it.” Smooth beats, glitchy synths, and those silky-smooth vocals set the scene for Taka Perry’s debut EP, as he builds anticipation for whats coming next. Interviews | Bricks Break’s Down His House Roots, Timing, Future Plans & More In Exclusive Interview

Posted by on July 19, 2016

Bricks has a classic LA story but with some genuine depth to it that’s just likeable, frankly. In this FNT interview, Bricks breaks down where his house roots came from, why he makes what he does (which is fluid dark hip-hop-influenced house that totally suites 2016, check out previous posts on our site), and so much more. Read all the details here.

How would you describe your style?

Brian: I’d describe it as a collection of all the styles that have influenced me through out my life. It’s combination of House, Miami Bass and Hip Hop. I add the groove of house to the raw 808 miami bass sound, then work in some vocal chopping and analog 80’s synths, and out comes up the Bricks sound.

Electronic | “Catching On” by Elephante is a must listen

Posted by on July 18, 2016

Elephante just dropped a brand new original called “Catching On”, featuring the lovely vocals of Nevve. This is slightly different from what we’re used to hearing from Tim Wu, but it’s still as ear pleasing and dance floor worthy as anything else he’s put out. This is truly what separates the good from the great – the ability to change it up song after song while still remaining consistent in quality (if not bettering it). Elephante says that “this song started on a rainy day in LA… it was all gray outside and i just started messing around until this “wuub wub wuub wub wubwubwubwubwub” thing appeared in my head… i didn’t think much of it at first, but it turned into one of my favorite tracks i’ve ever made.” Definitely check out “Catching On” now, and don’t be surprised when you fall in love with it!

Interviews | Hairitage Talk House, Dreams, & More In First-Ever Interview

Posted by on June 21, 2016

Hairitage has been making boss moves lately. He’s landed tracks on Ultra Records, CR2 Records, XXL Audiophile, and many more. Yet, he’s somewhat unknown even though his house jams are on point. Hairitage sat down with us for his first interview where we go deep, read more below.

Who are your biggest house influences that have helped you find your style?
Aaron: Listening to Tchami, some newer Vato Gonzalez, Flume, Friend Within, and some older Chainsmokers tracks were probably my biggest influences for ideas and how I wanted to make this particular song sound.

Who would you love to work with?
Aaron: I’d love to work with anyone mentioned above, Illenium, NGHTMRE, Yntendo, Jauz, Tom Budin, or Loge21. Any of them would pretty much be life made!
