It’s no secret. I have a blog crush on Iggy Azalea. She’s like the female version of Paul Wall minus the poor choice in tattoos. “I Think She Ready” which features Iggy Azalea, serves as the lead single off Mad Decent’s upcoming FKi mixtape. If you haven’t noticed, the down south ignorant rap style (which has slowly fallen out of popular culture) has seen a resurgence thanks to artists like A$AP Rocky and Iggy Azalea. Just a few weeks ago, Diplo linked up with Riff Raff to create “Rice Out.” Whether Diplo was serious or trying to be ironic, it’s interesting to see the rap paradigm shift, combining two opposite worlds into one. Production on the track goes to Derek Allen Diplo and Heroes and Villains. Be on the lookout for the mixtape dropping January 23rd.

B.o.B. brings us the visuals for his first radio hit off his recent mixtape, EPIC: Every Play Is Crucial, as him and Weezy head to the country side to get a better viewing of the Strange Clouds. I found the video a bit humorous in parts and Wayne is acting a fool in the majority of his parts, which added a little dynamism to the video. It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a new video from Mike Stud. The homie has been out west in Cali touring and making some serious moves. The video, which was directed by Paddy Quinn (the same director of In This Life and College Humor), was shot mostly at Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier, which sets the tone for the whole summer theme. I’m noticing that Stud keeps releasing videos with his bigger tracks, which seems like a sensible idea, everyone loves visuals, right?
