While anticipation has been building for Logic’s next single, his fans have been multiplying like crazy. Considering it was less than 6 months ago when the majority of us first caught wind of Logic, he has already come a very long way. Dropping one of the rawest mixtapes of 2011, Young Sinatra, Logic has more than quintupled his fans on Facebook and has become a regular favorite on almost every college blog.
Young Sintra III encompasses all of what hip-hop is and should be. Logic has the art of lyricism down to a T and once again shows just how talented he is behind the mic. Teaming up with GRVTY to bring us the newest visuals, this looks and feels like classic hip-hop. Nas & Frank Sinatra would be proud. I have been watching this video all day long. The video itself is cool and creative, the verses are smooth and some of the chillest I have heard in some time. I like a change of pace in my hip-hop. Dibia$e & Versis are giving away this track to build up to Dibia$e upcoming instrumental album, SOUND PLACE, set to drop December 13th.

I am not sure how we didn’t have this track posted yet. I have been listening to it for a couple of days now, and have been in absolute love with it. Grubeats got me hooked on Logic’s mixtape, Young Sinatra. If you haven’t listened to it yet, it’s a revelation. This newest track of his is incredible, his verses are nothing short of the best and the hook is something to put you in the best of moods. Enjoy.

One of the fan favorites off Logic’s recent mixtape, Young Sinatra, here is the live footage of the Maryland MC killing it live on the air at WMUC 88.1 FM, University of Maryland. This is by far one of the rawest tracks off the tape as Logic puts on a clinic for any artist wondering how to lyrically annihilate a beat. After introducing Logic to the majority of you only a couple months ago, he has dropped one hell of a mixtape and a handful of dope videos to go with it. Shot by GRVTY, here are the newest visuals from the Maryland’s own, Logic. Produced by Black Diamond, “All I Do” may come off as a mellow track, but the hooks catchy enough to get a crowd of people chanting. With that being said, where are all my hip-hop heads at? Logic has been a regular feature here on FNT over the past couple of months with the release of his three previous visual singles off this project, “Mind Of Logic” as well as “Young Sinatra II” & “Just Another Day“, as he has quickly rose to a favorite for hip-hop fans around the blogosphere. This 22 track project has finally arrived, and the self dubbed, “Young Sinatra” takes another step forward in his journey to success.

It’s not often talent like this strikes us out of the blue. Logic has exploded on the scene, showcasing uncanny delivery with his crispy clean voice and meaningful lyrics. Still only 21 years old, Logic is an artist that I truly believe yields the potential to make a successful and prosperous career in the game. His progression since his breakout mixtape, “Young Broke, & Infamous” is definitely evident, even though I was completely beside myself when I first heard his debut tape. Rather than mixing in some industry beats and remixes as he did on his previous tape, Logic brings us an all original piece of work, working with various producers and collecting only a few features. One of the most confident young artist’s out there, he is not scared to share his feelings with his fans, boasting his life accomplishments on record. You have to know you have talent when you compare yourself to arguably one of the greatest faces in music, Frank Sinatra. Typically, I’d resent that, but here, I can’t help but embrace it.
Upon initial discovery of Logic, the first artist that came to mind was J. Cole. Huge shoes to fill, yes, but too many similarities for my not to at least explore the belief. Logic is definitely his own artist and is not biting anyone’s style, but his lyrical mindset, the way he carries himself, his story, etc, remind me of a young J. Cole. Only time will tell, but listen to this project and maybe my comparison won’t sound so obscure.

Visionary Music Group, headed by Chris Zarou, seldom shoots, but when it does, it shoots to kill. Their first major artist, Tayyib Ali, hustled his way to the top of the blogosphere over the course of last year and is currently in high demand for shows. If you ask me, that’s quite a feat for someone lodged in a college market that grossly favors DJ performances over lyricists, which, of course, is in keeping with the pills over liquid mentality. Even so, some talented artists are able to capture peoples attention with the proper talent and marketing. Logic could be the next to rise to the top of this scene. He seems ripe for success because not only is he armed with a knack for lyrics, unique delivery and solid beat selection, he’s also fostering a more intimate bond with fans through visuals like the ones above. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this video is anything spectacular, but it is something – something more than just sounds coming out of your headphones. It’s something that allows you to know him better. Keep your eye on this one because BIGLIFE is BULLISH about Logic. If you are as curious as I was, his other videos (linked) might pique your interest. Out with the frat rap, this kids got that true hip hop swag.
