TomorrowWorld just continues to outdo itself. The festival, which is coming into its third year, has only grown more and more popular, as it offers an unmatched blend of music with jaw-dropping production and fairytale-esque festival grounds. Fresh off the announcement of the addition of two brand new stage curators, Thomas Jack and The Magician, to a list that included Hardwell, Pete Tong, and Ferry Corsten, the massive SFX-produced festival has unveiled the second phase of artists that are slated to take over the decks at TomorrowWorld. The second wave of artists announced rounds out the lineup quite nicely – bassheads are well represented by Bassnectar and Borgore, while Porter Robinson and Rudimental will help ring in the inaugural L!VE stage. Other confirmed acts include Kaskade, Benny Benassi, The Chainsmokers, Seven Lions, Maya Jane Coles, and more. You can check out the full phase 2 lineup above, and tickets to TomorrowWorld are available for purchase here.

Ever since his remix of “Jealous” by Chromeo, the up-and-coming Norwegian producer, Jerry Folk, has been on my list of artists to watch, and today, he’s unveiled his latest effort, a stunning nu disco remix of UK indie dance duo, Oh Wonder, and their track, “Lose It.” While Jerry Folk’s techy remix of “Talk” by Atlas Bound was a slight departure from his typical stylings, the talented musician returns to his roots with this one, as he masterfully blends a groovy house backbone with his signature nu-disco sound that only further elevate the captivating vocals of Oh Wonder. You can stream the entire remix above, and lucky for us, it’s up as a free download!

Within the last five years, dance music has experienced an incredible growth in popularity. Raves have evolved from illegal parties held at grungy warehouses, to massive spectacles featuring performers, fireworks, awe-inspiring stages, and hundreds of performing artists, while electronic artists have become superstars and celebrities, rather than backroom producers. Although electronic music has a lengthy past, the genre has never been in the limelight, and has never crossed over into the mainstream – until now. With electronic music sitting firmly in the spotlight, and plenty of media attention on the negative aspects of dance music, it’s become more and more important to open up a dialogue about how electronic music can positively impact society, and Insomniac is championing this movement with the EDMbiz Conference & Expo.

Get your pencils and notebooks ready to take some notes, because Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s most recent collaboration with Ummet Ozcan is giving us a lesson in partying. Kicking off their careers in the early 2000’s, the duo’s infallible efforts have paid off with acclaimed awards from Beatport, IDMA, and even the #2 spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Poll in 2015, but fellow collaborator, Ummet Ozcan’s list of achievements do not pale in comparison. The Turkish producer has racked up millions of plays on YouTube and is still feeling the success from his collab with R3hab and Nervo, “Revolution,” that premiered at #1 on Beatport. The music video for “The Hum” breaks any expectations you had for the party anthem, as it peers into a massive pool party, with craziness everywhere you look. Live animals, midgets, champagne showers, pillow fights, and epic party attendees, including martial arts master, Jean Claude Van Damme, and TV star, Charlie Sheen all make a cameo in the insane music video, which you can watch below. Buy “The Hum” on Beatport here.

A couple of weeks back, Annie Mac premiered Justin Jay‘s ominous remix of Disciples’ “They Don’t Know” on her BBC Radio 1 Show. The track dives into the deep parts of house music to spawn a villainous remix full of hypnotic percussion loops and growling bass tremors. Justin Jay’s current list of ventures are impressive being only 22 years old, but if this track is any indication of what is to come in 2015, fans can expect to see major strides to be made by the Dirtybird young gun. The track will be released via Pete Tong’s FFRR Records on February 22nd.
