Dubstep | Plan B — ill Manors (Funtcase Remix)
Posted by Sev on March 25, 2012
I posted about this track about a month ago and finally it has been released. There really isn’t much to say about this track that can’t be taken from listening to it, besides that this has to be one of the nastiest tracks from Funtcase we have seen in a while. This remix by Funtcase and all of the filth that comes with it can be purchased off itunes at the link provided below.

Hip-Hop | Nas – The Don
Posted by J_Salzer on March 18, 2012
Nasty “Escobar Nastradamus” Nas is back, offering up his highly anticipated single showing us why he’s still one of hip-hop’s biggest heavyweights. Sampling elements from his famed “Illmatic” album, Nas paints a picture with words, delivering a deeply cerebral masterpiece worthy of even Michael Corleone’s approval. Stream the track below. It’s truly an offer you can’t refuse.

Mixtapes | Clinton Sparks- My Awesome Mixtape II
Posted by GMONEY on February 15, 2012
I don’t think you’re really ready for this. This is something serious. Coming off a recent Grammy nomination for his work on Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” album, Clinton drops a massive tape on the blogosphere. The tape features original production as well as remixes to some of Clinton’s favorite songs with an audio forward by the legendary Samuel L. Jackson. Yes, snakes on a plane Samuel L. Jackson. Below, I’ve included a direct download link to the entire project. Hit “read more” to check out the awesome tracklist. Get familiar!

Electro | Scott Summers- I Am Scott Summers (Mixtape)
Posted by GMONEY on February 6, 2012
When P from H-Town sends tracks over, I know it’s something serious. I’m not even a big remix guy, so you know this mixtape is solid. Scott has been producing and song writing for over 10 years and has a knack for banging out hot originals (and models). His influences include RedOne, Max Martin, and Swedish House Mafia. Not a bad lineup if you ask me. Below, I’ve included my two favorite cuts from the project (one of which Interscope picked up as the official remix) as well as the link to the entire project. If you like what you hear, be sure to “Like” his Facebook page here.
Dubstep | Jayglo – Surprise!
Posted by Mach on January 27, 2012
This track was posted up on Inspected Records youtube a few days ago. Silently, Jayglo posted a random link on his facebook this morning with the 320 kbps download for it. The track has a funky dubstep vibe to it, reminds me of the kind of work that KOAN Sound does. It’s always nice to see artists steer away from the generic dubstep sound. Got to make that Jayglo, haha.

Dubstep | Skrillex Bangarang EP
Posted by Sev on December 23, 2011
The long gruesome wait for new material from Skrillex is finally over. The Bangarang EP has finally released, and although it doesn’t have all the tracks most people were looking for including myself, it is better than nothing. The worst part was finding out that Summit was actually the track everyone thought was called “Breathe”. I felt that “Right On Time” was just a track to take up space, because it was just an overall terrible track in my opinion. At one point throughout the track I felt like I should be doing the Melbourne shuffle, until the BPM finally changed in the middle of the track.
Kyoto is the track that stands out to me most as the top track for this EP. Although the many versions of Ruffneck Bass were leaked well in advance of their releases, this version blew them all out of the water. Devil’s Den was something different, and Wolfgang Gartner’s style could be seen through this track. I can’t blame Skrillex for putting these tracks out seeing as he just completed over 300+ shows in a year and managed his own label, but hopefully the next EP shows us why he was nominated for five Grammy awards. Here is the link to grab it on BEATPORT.
