Hip-Hop | Tempa T – Gangnam Style [Music Video]

Posted by on December 23, 2012

I have absolutely no clue what is going on in this video but I like it. I know he says at one point “All the things in your fridge, SMASH!” and with that one line I’m sold! Probably the best remix/mashup of “Gangnam Style” I’ve heard so far. The track takes Tempa T’s “Next Hype” and combines it with the global hit. The downloads expired on the Soundcloud that the track is hosted on but hopefully they will put up a new link soon to grab this.

Exclusive, Featured, Progressive House | The Dawn of Fearless Hearts (Stereoshock Official Edit) [FNT Premier]

Posted by on December 9, 2012

We are teaming up with Stereoshock to give you his latest edit as part of the second installment of his EDM cares campaign to help raise awareness and funds for important causes. In tune with the holiday spirit, he has partnered with Toys for Tots to raise awareness and funds for this great endeavor. This edit flawlessly meshes Hardwell’s edit of Michael Brun’s “Dawn” and Mr Fluff’s “Fearless Hearts”, picking a piece of a bass line here, a melody here and composing what sounds like one whole song and done with such ease that you hardly notice and any transitions. Click on the link to see how you can help these kids out and in the process unlock the download for this track.

UPDATE: The download has now been unlocked (see screenshot below). Thanks to everyone who shared and donated!

Trap | Bro Safari – Scumbag

Posted by on September 19, 2012

I’m sure you guys have already heard me blab about how I am not the biggest fan of the Trap movement, but I am fan of a great track. Which is what brings me to posting this latest track that was just featured on the Trap-A-Holics mixtape, that can be downloaded through the link provided on his Soundcloud Description. This track is bouncy and mean at the same time adding an Electronic spin to this Trap take on the Biggie Smalls sampled lyrics.

Electro, Videos | Na Palm – Electronic Chronic #002 [Promo Video]

Posted by on September 18, 2012

[do action=”youtube” videoid=”QpRjltICH68″/]

With less than one week left leading up to the release of Na Palm’s second Electronic Chronic podcast, the Windy City warrior takes to the streets with Milk & Cookies to save the world from reported unearthly sounds and creatures.  Showcasing his sense of humor and passion for EDM, Nay shares some of the most interesting promo content I’ve ever seen, but sadly I know some of you can relate all too well.  Stay tuned for the official release of EC2 next Monday, 9/24 and be sure to report any sounds by unidentified beach whales and tree huggers to your local radio stations.

On another note, Nay will be performing at College Fest in Boston this weekend with the likes of Wale, The Cataracs, Kap Slap, 3LAU, & many more.  You can purchase tickets and use coupon code “CRAY” to get tix for only $10 while supplies last!

Hip-Hop | Sir Michael Rocks & Vic Mensa – So Stupid

Sir Michael Rocks (Cool Kids) and Vic Mensa (Kids These Days), link up together to go in on this nice soulful beat. This is the final leak off Ruby Hornet’s Closed Sessions Vol. 2 , which I highly suggest checking out because of some quality names, this is probably my favorite off it. Prod. by DJ Babu, this will be on repeat for quite some time. Check out the documentary here too.

Hip-Hop | eGo – Ridin’ Round ft. Chance The Rapper

Fellow Chicago natives, eGo and Chance the rapper, link up to go in on this Big Bird produced track. This is the first time I’ve heard of eGo, but I was surprised with his impressive flow. The track is off of eGo’s upcoming mixtape, Vicodin. Make sure to grab this one.
