Canadian producer French Braids announces the release of a new single at the end of the month of April, featuring LA based vocalist Danelle Sandoval. Danelle was also featured on ‘Tuesday’ by Burak Yeter, who covered iLoveMakonnen’s worldwide hit. He just released visuals for an improvisation session he had with saxophonist Jacob Gorshalzen at Revolution Studio. Reminiscent of Klingande’s ‘Jubel,’ it has summer written all over it, check it about above, and give him a follow on Spotify to keep up to date with new French Braids music.

Ultra Records just revealed their lineup for SXSW, and we’ve got it covered for you! If you plan on making it out to Austin, Texas for the music showcase that is SXSW, make sure you stop by Empire Garage, on Wednesday March 16th to catch Bearson, Chris Malinchak, Danny L Harle, Klingande, Louis The Child, and Steve James. Make sure you get there early, as there will be a line, the doors open at 8PM. I personally will be out there, and will be rocking my bright yellow FreshNewTracks, so if you recognize the VMan, make sure you say what’s up! See y’all there!

I’ve been living in a horrible, dark period where I’ve listened to just about each and every song on my iPhone and iPod’s limited memory about 15 times in the past few weeks of traveling via plane, train, subway, bus, taxi, and foot, not to mention the times I hide my headphones under my hair when I want to mute all the family ramblings. You know how the holidays go. Luckily the latest free download from Austrian duo FlicFlac was a breath of fresh air. It only took about 17 seconds to be exact for that tingly feeling ya get when you listen to a new song to build inside me, and by a minute in, I’ve already had a huge grin on my face.
