Kaskade’s hit collaboration with Ilsey “Disarm You” has seen a decent amount of remixes since its release in 2015. There have been some I’ve liked, some I didn’t and some I’ve loved. Today I’ve added another one to the love column thanks to HVDES flip. The bass queen has put her own dark spin on the single and released it as a free download. It’s very much her style, but it’s a little lighter, more atmospheric to change up the pace a bit from her other records. She’s got a big year ahead of her and this is just the start!
Chill | Kaskade’s Arkade Records Releases Massive Compilation “Destination Tulum”

Arkade Records has released an 18-track compilation album, a journey labeled “Destination Tulum.” This release marks a shift from the labels normal pattern of single releases seen throughout a year, embarking on a new and deliberate musical journey that has chapters, moods, and vivid soundscapes that appeal. There is certainly a therapeutic element within, but listen for yourself to receive to full scope of what this is about.
With the revival of dance music in the states nearing it’s 10th anniversary, many have come and gone during those years, but one soloist who’s remained constantly relevant and on top, while continuing to evolve as a natural artist, is Kaskade. Like many, Kaskade started small, touring and releasing; fast forward years later, with record deals and festivals under his belt, the Arkade Records seed was planted and the rest is history. The label has hosted acts from Brohug to Fairchild, always remaining tethered as an expansion of Kaskade’s world and vision.

With classic Arkade feeling and enchanting house / deep house / tech house aesthetics, Fairchild sign yet another single to Kaskade’s own label Arkade. “Lost In Time” is a gradual rise to some seriously dirty synths, delivering power of emotional complexity dance music can deliver all in a single track. Fairchild’s newest single showcases the he has completely sunk into their signature sound, and keeps giving us bits of his new-found stream of conscienceness.
Fairchild has had a strong 2017, between the non-stop singles and the action poppin’ on his socials – you can bet this house artist will continue to rise.
Chill | Kaskade Releases Redux Mix Of Late Night Alumni’s “Love Song”

Kaskade has taken a shot at remixing his own track, sort of. Kaskade has been a part of another group called Late Night Alumni since 2005, amassing millions of plays and thousands of fans between now and then. They once again released music in 2015, but haven’t dropped much since that time. A few weeks ago the group released their new EP, and now Kaskade is adding more spotlight onto the group with his redux mix of “Love Song.”
Late Night Alumni is undoubtedly on a comeback streak and taking as many dance fans as they can with them. Rumor has it touring is soon to follow, which could be announced on their socials sometime this year.
