Bass, Remix | Birthdayy Partyy Get Fancy With “Suit & Tie” Remix
Posted by VMan on September 26, 2018
The Birthdayy Partyy boys are back with not only another remix, but another Justin Timberlake remix. After the release of their take on “Sexy Back” months ago, they just couldn’t pass up the urge to take on JT again. This time around they dapper up by taking on “Suit & Tie” and bring it into the world of electro. Packed with bass, this heater is just what we need to transition from the crazy Summer festival season into the Fall tour schedule. Speaking of shows, look out for Birthdayy Partyy as they have locked in a few shows this Fall and Winter! Don’t miss out.
Bass | Birthdayy Partyy Bring Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back”
Posted by VMan on February 26, 2018
I think it’s fair to say that we all wanted more “Sexy Back” from Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl Halftime performance. Thankfully, Birthdayy Partyy has come through with their own version of “Sexy Back” that satisfies the desire we had left over from earlier this month. I think these twins have released more singles this year than anybody else – excluding album releases. They just launched in mid-January and already have four releases on their hands. All of them incredible, this one especially. Have a listen for yourself to the bassy breakbeat sound and make sure to grab the free download!
Hip-Hop, Rap | Justin Timberlake – TKO (Remix) [J.Cole, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T]

If you missed it a few days back, the Justin Timberlake “TKO” remix is one for the ages. Featuring three of the hottest young emcees (young of course being used relatively as Pusha T is 36) the song puts a more “hood” spin on the original JT Experience track. In my personal and professional opinion I like J. Cole’s verse the best, and no, not just because he responded to Kendrick. Cole’s wordplay and idiom game was on another level and I suggest you guys check out the full annotations over on Rap Genius.

Trap | Benzi – Girl Trapz (Volume Four)
Posted by mimada on November 26, 2013
Benzi is baaaack with another one of his signature, highly acclaimed Girl Trapz mixtapes. This Girl Trapz is special not just because its tracklist is a stolid 10 or that it makes girls (and boys!) want to take their clothes off BUT because almost all of the featured songs were produced exclusively for this set. That includes contributions from the Girl Trapz remix contest Benzi held leading up to the release. So I raise my glass to you Benzi, not a single song disappoints. Snatch this free download and let it take you away on an hour-long euphoric, ass-shaking journey.

Electro | Semisonic – Closing Time (Damn Wright & Mila Kunis Mix)

Much like how I’ve never actually bought underwear, it’s always just kinda been there, Mila Kunis is attractive. She is the girl a lot of guys do stuff while thinking about but not me. I’m a Judge Judy kind of guy. Mila is the girl for Damn Wright though apparently, seeing as he made this for her after watching that scene in that movie where Justin Timberlake set up that flash mob to Semisonic’s “Closing Time” to impress her or something. Great movie. Haven’t seen it. Damn Wright’s remix retains a large portion of the original while adding chilled electro elements to bring it into modern time. The original song is a classic and will likely never be surpassed. This remix is close though so listen to it.

Progressive House | Justin Timberlake – Blue Ocean Floor (Moiez Remix featuring Anoop Desai)
Posted by Middy on October 8, 2013
Moiez has been quiet lately, notably since we premiered his remix of “Reload“, but he is back to the remix front with his take on one of Justin Timberlake’s recent tracks from the “20/20 Experience Pt. 1”. Well, technically this is a cover of that track by Anoop Desai, and then Moiez remixed it, so remix squared. The Vancouver native takes the strengths of the original / cover and adds a soothing, trancey melody, much like some of his older works like “Flight”, which is now being repackaged into a “3LAU collab” and rereleased with Justin’s name on it.
