Albums | SHDWS UNVEILS NEWEST CLUB WEAPON
Posted by VMan on September 18, 2019
San Francisco based producer and DJ, shdws, recently unveiled his newest house track, “One More Night.” Yet another artisanal craft from the heart of deep creativity, shdws maintains a theme of deep bass lines, and glooming sound design. My favorite design aspect of “One More Night” is the spooky beat he’s crafted and layered with female vocals of ambiguity that speak lines like “pour your gasoline all over me.” Definitely going in some club rotations soon. Find “One More Night” on Soundcloud or Spotify for streaming and free download here.
House | Phenatiks Drops House Influenced Single “Tour Guide”
Posted by VMan on December 7, 2017
In a world filled with excessive social media campaigns and self-promotion, the Phenatiks are an interesting anomaly. Comprised of PhilZen and jinjun, the innovative production duo prefers to let their music speak for itself by keeping a low key online profile. Enthusiasm for their new single “Tour Guide” and their previous release “Your Body” indicates that their production is more than capable of standing on its own merits. On “Your Body” the Phenatiks dive into the world of tribal house with a fierce drum track and some distinct vocal chops. Their fresh take one dance music is already generating quite a response on SoundCloud and leaving listeners eager for their next track. With a steadily growing fan base, expect to hear much more from them in the coming months.

Posted by VMan on September 27, 2016
There’s very few people who can actually deliver the true history of house music. Thankfully, Point Blank has filled this void by meeting up with James Wiltshire, who knows his stuff to say the least. Story-telling is a dying culture, but Wiltshire will make your mind filled with visuals and imagination with his detailed story starting all the way at the beginning.
If interested in part 2, Wiltshire then goes on to explain how to make house music here.

House | Brick’s “Off The Rack” Tells A House Story Worth Sharing
Posted by VMan on August 29, 2016
I’m not sure if its the low pitched vocals, the in your face basslines, or the squirmy vibrato laced topline, but “Off The Rack” by Bricks is a catchy house track that’s fuses Miami and LA vibes into its own thing.
The Icon Collective graduate with a focus on house music, based in LA, is making his mark with “Off The Rack”. He’s recently partnered with a couple large companies in the music industry, so be on the lookout bigger things. Also, he’s dropping a label release soon as well too. 3rd times a charm – can’t wait to hear what’s next, the last two give a clear picture of what’s to come.
