Great Skies releases one incredible tune after another. I don’t get how he remains so consistant, but I should just shut up and enjoy haha. Follow this guy, I have no doubt he will continue his trend of releasing great tunes.

Videos | Armin van Buuren Joined on Stage by Dutch King and Queen; Everything Makes Sense Again
Posted by Spice on May 1, 2013
Here is a video of Armin van Buuren being joined on stage by the King and Queen of the Netherlands, who made an impromptu pit stop at this apparent rave while probably en route to a ball and/or palace.
This video is perfect. Several things:
1) There are currently multiple comments on YouTube alleging that Armin is, in fact, the real King in the North King of the Netherlands and the other guy’s an impostor. Interesting theory.
2) I’m assuming that this is the Dutch equivalent of the Obamas getting on stage with Skrillex at Ultra. Awesome; also excellent visual.
3) In that vein, I’d really like to live in a country where Armin van Buuren is backed by a symphony orchestra and kings and queens come out to wave to the adoring populace as the dulcet sounds of trance and violins fill the air. Armin van Buuren: Dutch National Treasure.
4) The Queen is kind of a babe, no?
5) Coolest royal family ever. Sorry England — until Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles are photographed waving glow sticks at Ministry of Sound, I don’t want to hear about it.
BREAKING: I’ve just been informed that this is a video of King Willem-Alexander’s inauguration, where Armin was specifically asked to perform. However, what King Willem-Alexander isn’t telling you is that the whole inauguration thing was actually a ploy; he really just wanted to see Armin drop his Dead London edit of “Stresstest.”
Events | Electric Adventure expands to two days, August 3rd & 4th
Posted by Middy on April 24, 2013
After a resounding success last year, one of the more unique festivals on the Eastern seaboard, Electric Adventure, returns for its second edition at Six Flags in Jackson, New Jersey, this time expanding to two days to give revelers more time for the edm / roller coaster action they crave. The match made in heaven of roller coasters and a great lineup, then toss in the obvious mix of drugs and alcohol and you have yourself one of the sleeper US festivals this summer. Since it is two days, I would recommend getting a fast pass to cut the lines because time is money my friends and you don’t want to be that guy standing in line for Superman or Bizarro, while your favorite DJ is shredding and then hearing about it up until Electric Zoo. Get your tickets now before they sell out and the lineup will be announced soon.
Hip-Hop | DJ Khaled Feat. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne – No New Friends (SFTB Remix)
Posted by W8 on April 15, 2013
Here’s the predictable first single off of DJ Khaled’s “Suffering From Success”. The only thing that DJ Khaled seems to be suffering from is a penchant for fast food and putting his name on tracks that he had nothing to do with. DJ Khaled is the type of guy that copy-pastes a joke he found on Twitter, changes a few words, and calls it his own so we can stunt on his timeline. Why artists (other than the fact that he’s the president of Def Jam South) choose to work with him is beyond me. He brings nothing to the table.
Why artists work with DJ Khaled is beyond me. He brings nothing to the table. He doesn’t rap, write or produce. He just stamps his name.

Wow, 95 Royale is making moves with this hot new funky single. I absolutely love everything this guy has made, which has mainly been a lot of free releases. I am happy to finally see him release a gem like this on Beatport. Enjoy.

Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Salomon Faye & Enasni Leber – Fool’s Gold
Posted by J_Salzer on April 1, 2013
When I received a musical submission from my necklace making brother, Charlie Hudson, I was a bit skeptical. The guy does make some nice necklaces, but what does he know about music? Well, apparently he knows a lot. A week after receiving his initial email, I’ve finally gotten around to listening to it. From the first 5 seconds, I knew I’d love it. I’m addicted to old school samples, and that’s what originally drew me in. But what made me hit the replay button four (4!) times were the verses from Salomon Faye and Ensani Leber. I had never heard of THEillUZiON movement up until last week, but it’s something I will be quickly educating myself on. Check out Salomon on twitter here, and Ensani here.
House | Funky Friday #5
Posted by Mach on March 29, 2013
Funky Friday back again to help all of us add a little spunk to our weekends. I usually try to stay away from bootlegs, but this one caught my eye instantly. I’m sure the Disco Stars were thinking, “the Jackson 5 would be awesome to make Disco-House”. Whether they actually thought that or not, this is sweet funky tune.
I swear this guy knows I have had my eye on his music. He just hasn’t stopped releasing anything since I first posted him. i don’t know if this is the usual for him or not, but this guy has some real talent in creating some funked out originals. Below are just a few tracks that he has released in the past few days.
Last, we have a real funky soul jam. I really do not know much about any of these artists, this is completely out of my field of knowledge. However, I like this track a lot. It is what grew into the styles you hear above, it’s the real deal funkity funk.
