I’ve been staying away from pop music recently but I couldn’t help myself here, the video deserves some attention. As one of the most successful frat dancers in the country, second only to RealKingCurtis, I can really appreciate some of the moves this guy pulls off. With that said, I won’t be seeing this guy on any of the So You Think You Can Dance episodes that my mom “forces” me to watch, but he’s still impressive nonetheless. When Jared Glick (Timeflies manager, duh) contacts me, I know it’s something serious. I have to admit, I’m not a big mash-up guy. Sure, I listen mash-up artists here and there, but I don’t usually have them in my 8-track tape player on the regular you feel me? I’m more of a “Young Base God with that 55 heater” type of guy.
Back to my story. Rob Resnick, one half of Timeflies, mashed Rebecca Black’s “This Is My Moment” with Drake’s first single off his debut album, “Thank Me Later” for another installment of Timeflies Tuesday. Is Rob Resnick a beast, or is he a beast? As a bonus, I’ve added their teaser video for their upcoming track entitled “Turn It Up” below. Word has it that there may be some “wobbling” going on during the track. As always, be sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook if your heart so chooses. I promise you, they talk about more than just their music.

Sheldon Scott is perhaps the most slept on artist in the blogosphere. He doesn’t have a Twitter or a Facebook page. You think I’m kidding? Google him for yourself. Despite the fact that he doesn’t exist online and he’s a complete enigma, he has a knack for making hits. Sheldon recently sent these two cuts over exclusively that were submitted to Timbaland for his upcoming “Shock Value III” project. If you’re an artist in the pop/electronic genre that’s looking to improve on your songwriting ability, I’d study Sheldon Scott closely. Sorry, I don’t have the cliff notes version. Somebody needs to sign this guy already.
