I usually hate what I get in my inbox. Just terrible music submission after terrible music submission. People thinking I owe them something, people requesting I send them beats, people asking me if I can bring the rice out. You name it, it’s been asked. Enter, Trevor Wesley. Not penetrate him, but you get the idea. This guy can sing. Period. I dig this guy’s swag too. It’s off the charts, no homo. He’s got the bowtie going with the fresh tweed blazer. Talk about sartorialist.
Putting my professional music blogger cap on, the video isn’t what it seems on its face. Sure, it’s a fun video of Trevor walking around interacting with various characters including but not limited to Jesus, but it also raises questions about consumerism, the reason for the season, and conspicuous consumption. Many themes in this video, many themes. That’s what separates the bloggers from the blogstars. As a bonus, I’ve included the mp3 for your listening pleasure. This is what I’m talking about. I can already see young impressionable women grinding (gasp) on the dance floor while simultaneously doing that annoying sorority-girl finger point thing. Seriously though, what’s up with that? If you’re a sorostitute, you know what I’m talking about. Don’t shake your head. Don’t act like you’re above that. You know you’re not. I’m not hating though. Grind on in those yoga pants girl, grind on. No word on whether or not this is Flo-Rida’s official single, but I can dig it. Whatever you do, however, don’t google Sia. Very unfortunate looking. I’m so mean. My New Years resolution is to blog more, and be less judgmental towards the female population. Doubt that will happen though, since I’m more of a “come and meet me in the bathroom stall, and show me why you deserve to have it all” type of guy. That sh*t kray. Only skinny blogger in a sauna with food.

So its no secret that FNT’s resident DJ, JurisDoc, has been slacking off lately. Using our typical FNT HR hiring and firing practices, we told him he had one chance to convince us he was worthy of keeping around… the mix-off of all mix-off’s, if you will. Well I will be the first guy to admit that JurisDoc came through in the clutch and delivered a face-melting electro mix that will keep you grinding through the thick and the thin of whatever this weekend has in store.

Get ready to send those trick-or-treaters running with these bass driven bangers. Document One’s new EP “Tainted Dub” caught me completely off guard. When Borgore previewed these tracks in his Daily Dose of Dubstep, on BBC, nothing caught my attention. After giving it a another chance, I can see I was completely wrong. Tim Ismag is another name dubstep fans are going to be hearing more of very soon. Many big names are giving this guy support and I can see why. Popeska has come out of nowhere releasing banger after banger. In one of his track descriptions he writes “just messing around”. If he is just messing around on these tracks I can not wait to see what happens when he starts trying.

Earlier today, Mac Miller tweeted “DJ Enuff is about to premier Party On 5th Ave on Hot 97. Go to hot97.com/streamhot to get the online stream” – well this the best rip I could find of the track. Not don’t freak out when I say this, but I’m starting to get worried that Blue Slide Park might not live up to its expectations. I love Mac just as much as the next guy, but I’m not afraid to call a spade a spade. What do you think, will this project be as good as we expect it to be? Sound off in the comments…
