‘Loser Like You’ is the latest single from Brooklyn indie-dance crew argonaut&wasp, and it’s also just the first taste of their upcoming debut EP, ‘Ha! Fiction’. Argonaut&wasp have crafted their own unique indie-dance blend with elements of disco, dance and a whole lot of funk. This song represents the struggle between the underdog and the bully, and it shows through the course of the track. From the artists themselves: “This song was written late at night, in a state of utter confusion, our minds were cluttered with frustration – an internal bully and an internal underdog, how can we express this feeling of internal conflict but to have these two characters, these two iconic figures come to life through a narrative.” Featuring funky guitars, groovy basslines, and pulsating drums – ‘Loser Like You’ is a must listen. Check it out now and be sure to support the artists!

Most dance music fans, even the casual ones, have heard EDX’s original, “Missing.” The track, which was released earlier this year, has gone on to garner over 8 million plays online and counting, on its way to becoming one of the biggest dance tracks of the year. The talented Swiss producer has continued to push the record, as he’s enlisted the Netherlands-based Joe Stone and Brazil’s Nytron to deliver two impressive remixes of his chart-topping original. First up is Joe Stone, who infuses the track with soaring piano riffs and a groovy bassline sure to tear up the dance floor. Hot on Stone’s heels is Nytron, who showcases his left-leaning, indie dance style with slick guitar work and heavy synth stabs on his remix. The remix pack is now available to buy/stream on online retailers.

House | Justin Jay & Friends Show Off New Dimensions On “Let Go” Ft. Josh Taylor
Posted by Juicebox on May 18, 2016
The LA-based producer Justin Jay has been killing it lately with his Part 1 and Part 2 of his Fantastic Voyage (The Album!) out on Black Butter Records and Freerange Records respectively. Now, Justin’s taking it back to the States by teaming up with Josh Taylor, once again, on “Let Go,” a groovy, funk-filled track that we can’t stop bumping. Taylor’s smooth, laidback croons offer the perfect balance to the blues-inspired guitar melodies and infectiously catchy hi-hats. Peep it above and keep an eye out for the rest of the EP on Soul Clap Records.

Sydney house-lords Random Soul have given us their take on the classic Lauryn Hill track ‘Doo-Wop (That Thing)’, and have certainly done the song justice. From the artist themselves: “We’ve always loved a bit of Lauren Hill, so we made this remix for our live sets and it’s always a good party starter.” This deep house banger perfectly combines breathtaking vocals with a groovy and catchy bass line, making it a great addition for any set. Jenaux has been blowing us all away with his “big-room funk” sound, and he just took The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” to an entirely new level. From the man himself: “I pitched the track up a semitone, created some funky vibes, added some guitar riffs, and a groovy horn section in the drop. It’s quite rad and different.” Different is usually good, Jenaux. But in your case, different is always incredible! Jenaux is giving this bad boy away for free so be sure to grab it now!
