Review | Jabra Revo Wireless Headphones

I recently got hit up by Sumpto (an awesome college rewards site – all college students out there should check it out!) to try out the new Jabra Wireless Revo Headphones. If I’m in the car, walking around campus, studying or just hanging out at home I am constantly listening to music. One problem I often run into with my current over-the-ear noise canceling headphones is the wires are always get in way, so I was very excited to try these wireless noise-canceling headphones. I received them from the company a few days ago and I have never fallen in love with headphones more than these. I have had these on all day and they are the perfect everyday headphone usage, providing top-notch sound quality and great noise canceling. They are an over-the-ear headphone and easily one of the most comfortable pairs I’ve ever put on. They have a very slim design and are not too bulky on your head so you can definitely rock these on campus and not stick out (unlike other headphones). The bluetooth sound quality is very good and as a sound quality geek, this was very important to me. Most wireless headphones sacrifice a lot of sound quality but the Jabra Wireless Revo headphones provide top notch sound quality. These headphones are amazing and I recommend them to any music lover out there, they are the perfect headphone for any college student. Be sure to check them HERE.

SirensCeol released a new EP called “The Ocean” to Beatport a few days ago, and I have to say this is my favorite track on the EP. It’s catchy, nostalgic and has been stuck in my head since I first heard it! The drop is full of growls and mechanical noises and topped with rising synths. The pacing in the song seems to be just a bit different than most dubstep tracks. The whole EP is cool so check it out!

NYC electronic duo ASTR released “R U With Me” a few days back, and the song is a gem. If you’re into 80’s synths, and that nu disco wave which has been making a come back, this tune is for you. Wish I had more to say, but I’ll let you discover this one on your own senses. This is an easy play, and you’ll be hooked by the first stream. Experimental artist Sekuoia, hailing from Copenhagen, created this chill remix of “Pearl” as a part of Mieux’s Neufant (Remixes) EP. The vocal chops and percussion take your mind far away. It’s the kind of track that is easy to get lost in – perfect for studying or relaxing in these last few days of August. Caught this one a few days late, but it’s funky enough that it still deserves some recognition! This is some really sexy trap for your Tuesday. It’s smooth, uplifting, and full of pleasing synth work. The song flows really well with the samples used, and the whole takes the listener on a journey in their mind. It’s also free to download!
Events | Size In The Park Expands to 2 Days, Tickets Now On Sale

After a successful, but rainy and quiet debut to Size in the Park last year, Steve Angello’s Size Matters returns to Central Park in New York City for a second year. This time they have expanded from just one day, to almost a two day festival format. No word on the lineup yet, but I would be willing to bet that it would be some people from Size. Just a shot in the dark, not totally sure though.
Going for the outdoor gig in late September is a bold maneuver because it could get pretty cold at night, especially if it is rainy, but bold choices can pay off. More info at the Size In The Park website here. Tickets are on sale now a few days early, though pre-sale tickets sold out in the blink of an eye.
