Alternative | Sam Louis Releases “No More Running”
Posted by VMan on May 18, 2022
Sam Louis creates a borderline perfect combination of Pop and Rock on his latest offering, “No More Running”. Produced by Andre Mohring (Big Sean, Harry Styles) & Grammy-winning engineer Dale Becker (Lil Nas X, Khalid, Doja Cat, The Kid Laroi), the track has all the ingredients for a modern pop hit with major replay value. This is the first piece of music I’ve heard by Mr. Louis and am very impressed!
“I felt like like I was trying to outrun my future…No More Running is an accidental anthem about facing your past and the fear of moving on”

Boston bred Pop singer/songwriter Gillian Heidi shared her new single, “moonlight” last week and thanks to her unmistakably potent vocals, it’s a new stand out song for the rising teen. The pensive ballad imbued with soaring harmonies and sparse, meditative instrumentals. Check out a quote from Gillian Heidi below now and stream “moonlight” above! “The song is about the vulnerability of first falling in love and the beautiful fear that comes with it,” Heidi writes. “It’s one of my most vulnerable and truthful songs. It was the first real love song I’ve ever written and it means a lot to me.”
Bass | JACKNIFE Goes For Blood in “Fear” [via Bladed Black]

A sonic display of all we know and love from the Aussie artist, JACKNIFE returns for a sinister “Fear.” Combining his bass and G-House efforts, JACKNIFE creates a truly wicked display of technical work.
Music as a career goes far beyond hobby and passion for this young producer. JACKNIFE’s music reflects dedication and commitment through its destructive live delivery. 2019 was a busy year, opening with an EP on The Prescription // Insomniac Records, followed by official remixes for MALAA (“Addiction,” CONFESSION Label) Dirty Audio (“West Coast,” Thrive Music) Matroda, “What Happened?” & ATLIENS, “F*ck That” (BASSRUSH), and singles with DIM MAK and Pinnacle Collective. The chaos really began with MALAA x JACKNIFE present “Revolt,” a mid-tempo house heater that raised hell in the neighborhood. JACKNIFE wrapped up the year with his first Witch Craft package, at the same time launching his own imprint under Pinnacle Music, Bladed Black Records.
