Never been to the land of tall, blond babes? Want to eat a 5-course meal at Axwell’s restaurant in Stockholm? (I do) Want to to go to his show in Stockholm on the 31st? Did I just get your heart racing to 128 bpm? I do not know if there will be a 5-course meal served at this comp, and if your heart automatically races to 128 bpm at the thought of Axwell, then that is dedication.
Well here is your lucky opportunity, Axwell is giving away an all expenses trip to his show at the 9,000 person Swedish Maritime Museum on August 31st, supported by NO_ID, that includes eating at his restaurant, attending his show and staying at some swanky hotel. Don’t be surprised if you meet the Ax-man himself. It would be wrong if you went all that way for free and didn’t. Think you don’t have a chance to meet Axwell? Well you can try and chat with him via Twitter tomorrow at 1pm EST for an hour, so ask him the burning questions you have always wanted to know, like what type of charcoal he uses for BBQs, how often he changes his oil, or what is his favorite snuggie.

Trademark just released what might be my favorite bootleg ever. The Timeflies “I Choose U” vocal matched with Madeon’s latest single, “Technicolor” couldn’t have been a better fit, listen to what he did with the chorus, absolutely incredible.

The original has to be one of my favorite tracks from 2012 still being played on the festival circuit, and though to some the vocal might have just have just been a violation of the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality, I think it made a great song, even better. Moiez makes sure to keep the builds largely in tact and takes full advantage of John Martin’s vocals, while flipping the script on the drop, adding his own pounding snares and percussion and mixing in the searing synth chords from the original. This may not fit with all tastes, but I am sure it will be a breath of fresh air to all ears who have heard the original mix many, many times. Dillon Francis and Kill The Noise have finally let the cat out of the bag: and by that I mean the first track from their collab project appropriately titled Meowski666. Originally, the duo premiered the pairing at the IHEARTCOMIX Mad Decent Fool’s Gold SXSW showcase (minus KTN) under the hiatus, “Kitten Party.” Now, our favorite cat-loving DJs are ready to let the dogs cats out with the release of “Meow Machine,” an electronic cacophony of bass, Venga Boys, and KW Griff’s “Bring In The Katz,” punctuated by cat calls of your favorite feline YouTube celebrities. And I’m not kitten when I tell you it’s just awesome.

While Kill The Noise put it more simply as “Just two guys doin it for the lulz.” (As per your request Jake, not making any shit up)
Judging by the rest of Dillon’s recent Twitter activity, he’s got some serious shit a-brewin’ (exhibit A, B, and C) but I think so far this track might be my favorite =^.^=

The hip-hop duo from Rutgers University, I.O.U., had sent over their track “Worth It” a couples weeks back, and I never got a chance to post it. Well just in luck, the guys just sent over the video for their new record “Take A Walk” where they sample Passion Pit’s “Take A Walk,” and this might be one of my favorite records from these cats. They delivered on this Felix Wei production with top notch verses from Buck and Izee, and a hook that doesn’t play around. I’m also a fan of this video. The boys were recently out in LA and they took the opportunity to shoot these awesome visuals with director Babylon Jean. Bravo fellas! Keep up the great work! This is a must listen and a must download!

Glad I checked up on Rockwell Knuckles today, I’ve been meaning to share his music with you guys. I believe it’s been since ’09 that Rockwell has been featured on FNT with his dope track “Government Name,” and today we change that. The St Louis MC Rockwell Knuckles dropped a new track/video for his record “In For The Kill,” teaming up with Converse A/V to put this production together. Personally, it’s not my favorite track by the man, it’s not as upbeat as his regular work, though he still remains one of my favorite rappers, and I’m always excited to hear new records from him. Enjoy!
Throwback from Rockwell, but a must listen nonetheless, probably one of his freshest tracks.

I am moderately sick so I will make this quick. I am well aware that remixes of “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons are plentiful and I even believe a couple have already been posted. That doesn’t matter though, because this one is my new favorite. I have high standards, especially for tracks that have been posted before, so I can assure you that this is worth a listen even if you have a different remix of it you enjoy.
