I hate to say it seeing as I am a huge fan of Savoy, but their past few releases have been disappointing. They brought back the fire though with this huge Electro-House banger. I wonder how it has sounded to hear this track played live. I am hoping this means the re-rise of Savoy, I could really use some more new bangers like this from them.

I’m a big fan of Taiki & Nulight and of this banger they put up on UKF a few weeks ago. It is going to be a free download as soon as their FACEBOOK page hits 5K likes so head over to their page and give them a like so we can get this tune already. So many bangers released this week, but not enough time to post! So we are going to make up for the lack of time all in this weeks R, so lets get started. Cutline has been getting this track rinsed out by so many artist for the past four months, just waiting for this track to get released. It is their remix of Ayah Marar’s Mind Controller and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The only downfall is that it can only be purched in the UK at the moment, so hopefully you guys can find a way around that.

We posted a preview of this track a few months ago, but since then the fan base around this track has nearly doubled. Filth Collin’s just releasing his Levels EP on Second to None Music including his highly praised track Levels. No this is not a joke, and no this is not a remix or remake of Avicii’s Levels. This track has some nice vocal slicing going on with some heavy bass and a great upbeat style of dubstep we don’t see too often. You can also grab the rest of the EP on Beatport HERE. Big ups to Resonance Audio for another big release on their label; these guys are putting out monster bangers that are going unnoticed. This is the first time I ever heard a track from Zaku-Chan, but it couldn’t have been a better track. This is that heavy style of bass and filth you love to see from an artist. The best way to describe this track is that it is the fusion of Funtcase and Genetix styles in one track.

Phrenik is slowly becoming one of Mach and I’s favorite dubstep artist. He has stayed true to his dirty, heavy style all the way since we first heard about him a year ago. Just having another EP released, this was my favorite track on it by far.

Electro | Deadmau5 – Strobe (Redial Remix)

Redial really cranked up this melodic progressive original from Deadmau5. We can easily say the original track is on a whole other level compared to every remix we have seen, but it is always nice to hear others variations to a classic that everyone loves. Redial does a great job of keeping the melody most of the way through the remix, but also fuzing his crunchy electro synths and heavy distorted basslines. I’m a big fan of this one.

Dubstep, Review | Datsik — Vitamin D

All the heavy dub heads have been waiting for this day to see Datsik release all his hard work onto his first album “Vitamin D”. Being a fan of Datsik and knowing the potential he has; I went into listening to this album with very high hopes. Known for putting out some of the filthiest songs it is safe to say Datsik is pretty well known for his heavy wobbles and crunch sounds. After giving the album a full listen I can say that it didn’t meet the expectations I had for it. As far as the structure of the album goes I will give Datsik the credit of having a nice flow from one song to the next. My problem was with the overall uniqueness of each track and the incorporation of new sounds. Yes, Datsik has some of the sickest sounds and remixes in dubstep, but the repetition of similar or exact same sounds was just too much for me in this album. By the third or fourth song I already knew what sounds and synths he was going to use throughout the track and the drop with maybe a few additions. Nevertheless, I did have a few favorites on the album that I do recommend listening to. Punisher easily took the top spot for me on this album as the dominant track that stood out. This collaboration with Downlink was filled with heavy bass and Datsik’s signature wobbles combined with Downlink’s style . This track also included some snippets of Biggie vocals which worked out very well. My other three favorites were Syndrome, Complete Control, and Annihilate all for close to similar reasons as Punisher. Just because I didn’t favor this album as much as I hoped too, shouldn’t by any means discourage you guys from not listening to it all the way through.

I have never been caught so off guard from a track as much as this one. Hulk did the unthinkable, and made this radio top 40’s song into an absolute dubstep banger. I wasn’t lying to you guys when I said subscribe to Bass Union for some sick exclusives. Be sure to like these guys on FACEBOOK as well. First up we have Delta Heavy’s latest remix of Maverick Sabre’s next single releasing on April 22nd. This tune DnB heaven and Mach and I are big fans of this remix along with most of their other tracks.

Let the Madness begin! Nothing like the March Madness tourney. With the tournament, always comes the filling out of the brackets, which we all know is the best part. After the release on the Miike Snow band’s new album ‘Happy To You,’ we finally have the great remixes of ‘Paddling Out.’ Now the Jacques Lu Cont and Carli remixes are great, but we all know the only one people really want is the Wolfgang Gartner remix. Wolfgang’s remix is awesome. I am a big fan of the Miike Snow band, and Wolfgang Gartner did more than good justice to this track. The vocals had to stay in their entirety for sure, and the beat he drops on us is banger status. Now I know these remixes are only out on iTunes UK, but if you click here you know I wouldn’t leave you hanging on the Wolfgang Gartner remix. For the rest of you that want the other tracks, sadly you are on your own.
