Dubstep | Deadmau5 – FML (Caspa Re-Fix)
Posted by Mach on October 25, 2012
Caspa has not been producing like he use to, in fact the once household name of Dubstep is now lost in the basement somewhere. This remix is actually an oldie of his that he has been ‘hoarding.’ Finally, Caspa has graced our ear with a download worth… well, downloading haha. An old, unofficial remix of Deadmau5′ “FML,” this is a vibed out Dubstep tune. Really brings you back to the earlier, simpler times of the genre.
Electro-House | The Bloody Beetroots & Greta Svabo – Chronicles Of A Fallen Love
Posted by Mach on October 23, 2012
Holy Apollo, I was not expecting this track to release today. (Fact: Apollo was also the Greek God of Music) It has seemed to be forever ago when I first listened to this track played on a Youtube video from a Bloody Beetroots live set. Then I thought it was awesome, but seriously after hearing the real deal I clearly had not fathomed the greatness of this track. Greta Svabo’s voice is absolutely beautiful, the way her vocals portray the lyrics is outstanding. The Bloody Beetroots on the other hand produced something out of a fairytale.
Chill, Trap | Slow Magic – Sorry Safari (LeGinge Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 21, 2012
This isn’t really Trap, it’s called Trill, but I doubt a lot of people know what Trill is. LeGinge, like a sponge, absorbed my mind with this remix. It is the embodiment of peace of the mind, once the piano comes in you have reached nirvana. The rest is just bonus beauty.
Electro-House | Carousel – Let’s Go Home (Sound Remedy Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 21, 2012
This remix is an incredible listen to end the weekend and usher in a new week. Most of the track starts from chilled out, happy house, but later in the track breaks in a crunchy electric guitar solo. As I listened, I thought the vocals were what really brought this masterpiece together, but the guitar solo takes everything that was there and shoots for the moon. Direct hit.
Dubstep | Crystal Fighters – Follow (Benga Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 18, 2012
“Follow” is one of Crystal Fighters best tracks, to date. Benga has actually given away this remix for free, exclusively in the UK though. Don’t worry though I got everyone on this. Benga stated months ago that he was retiring from Dubstep, so either he is trolling like Spor did or he is slowly going to give away the music he has left. Either way it’s nice to see we will still get some fresh music from the legend.
Drum & Bass | Spor – Ziggurat/Push Me, Pull You
Posted by Mach on October 15, 2012
Drum & Bass’ God has returned. Over the past few months, Feed Me AKA Spor, has shown resentment to his legendary ego, Spor. It was feared that Spor would be no more, but to our great surprise, the legend in EDM has released these two tracks saying this, “Who said I left? Genres mean nothing to me, I just love music, thank you to everyone who supports me.” Clearly he was messing with us, well that’s a great weight off my shoulders haha. Spor has proven that he still has it, and that his Feed Me persona has not taken control of his other talents within electronic music. He may be one the best, well rounded producers in EDM. Though, these track have released through the UK, I do not doubt the peoples ability to uncover them in other ways on the internet. Enjoy.
Dubstep, Videos | Subscape – Graveyard Shift (Elements)
Posted by Mach on October 8, 2012
Part 3 of Subscape’s 4 part series, “Elements” is finally here. “Graveyard Shift” represents the element of Earth, but does not really sound like anything Earth-like. I would say this track has a spacey, more traveling the universe at high speeds feel. That doesn’t really matter though, this is an incredible melodic Dubstep track, one of Subscape’s best. Part 4 of the series is Fire, but make sure you also check out AIR & WATER.
