Albums | Boston’s ‘Just Juice’ Lands a Logic Feature On “Lavish”
Posted by Grubeats on January 18, 2015
Just Juice, a young up and coming face in Boston’s hip-hop scene dispels his “Lavish” rhymes on us with his newest release. Gaining support from VMG’s own, Logic, as well as Mojo, Juice and co. spit semi-auto bars over this C-Sick certified banger. Juice has been on his grind for several years now and I have a feeling this track will land him the platform he deserves. If you’re feeling this one, feed your ears his free album, For The People.
Pop | MisterWives – Reflections

One of my homies put me on to the band MisterWives, and I can’t deny their track “Reflections” is super catchy! Late to the party as for a change, as word on the street they’re already selling out shows cross country, but it’s never too late to discover a band that will for sure have their radio hit in no time, if it’s not this one! This is a must listen and check out their EP Reflections on iTunes. The band will be performing at Webster Hall September 4th, so make sure you get your tickets and go check them out if you’re in the area! This is a must listen!
Hip-Hop | Raz Simone – So Far, So Far
Posted by VMan on June 13, 2014
Raz Simone right now is one of my favorite up and coming rappers, and is getting closer and closer to super stardom if you ask me, all he needs is that one hit to take him there, but “So Far, So Far,” off his Cognitive Dissonance project, def gets him closer to that status. Released with the announcement of his upcoming 52 city tour, along Strange Music’s Rittz, and Taylor Gang’s Tuki Carter. I like Raz cause he has that gangster flow, and yet keeps it soulful, and earthy, on that real no gimmicks ish. This is a must listen!
Progressive House | SHM + Laidback Luke – Leave The World Behind (Outmode Bootleg)
Posted by Middy on June 1, 2014
Promising young Gotherberg duo, Outmode have released their remix of the quintessential late 2000’s prog tune LTWB. A robust and bouncy remix, Outmode add their own unique spin on the tune that takes a more groove oriented approach, while still much of the original genius shine through. Similar “Freak Me Out”, their latest single which was championed by Kryder, they draw from their “quality house” sound, adding very promising Swedish faces to the genre their country helped pioneer.
Despite being only 19 years of age, they show maturity in their productions beyond their years and a diversity in sound that is rare for producers their age. It’s not a matter of if, but when these guys break out on the international stage. Now is the time to say you were there when it all began.
