Aash Mehta just dropped his newest mix, thanking fans for the support on his debut EP that we talked about here. From Aash himself, “Here’s a little thank you for all the love you’ve shown! I got a bit tired of the traditional summer mixes filled with tropical house or piano powered drops, so today, I decided to record my own!”. This mix takes you on a journey, blending genres from future-house, progressive-house, and even trap! Check out the mix now, and I have it on good authority to tell you there’s an unreleased ID from Aash hiding in there somewhere as well!

Norwegian producer Limbic Void just dropped his debut five-track EP called “Lapdogs” and it is beautiful. Having started the EP in early 2015, Limbic Void decided to scrap everything and start all over again from scratch 6 months in – a decision he says he does not regret. He said that the “new songs came to me much more naturally…I was playing around with the ideas revolving around a harmless comment that stuck in my head, about how people settling down had become “domesticated””. This collection of sounds has an almost Flume influence with a more pop feel – combined with naturally soothing vocals. Check out the EP now and remember, “everybody knows that even lapdogs have to run”.
House | Justin Jay & Friends Show Off New Dimensions On “Let Go” Ft. Josh Taylor
Posted by Juicebox on May 18, 2016
The LA-based producer Justin Jay has been killing it lately with his Part 1 and Part 2 of his Fantastic Voyage (The Album!) out on Black Butter Records and Freerange Records respectively. Now, Justin’s taking it back to the States by teaming up with Josh Taylor, once again, on “Let Go,” a groovy, funk-filled track that we can’t stop bumping. Taylor’s smooth, laidback croons offer the perfect balance to the blues-inspired guitar melodies and infectiously catchy hi-hats. Peep it above and keep an eye out for the rest of the EP on Soul Clap Records.

House | Justin Jay Enlists Josh Taylor and Ulf Bonde for Fantastic Voyage Pt. 2
Posted by Juicebox on May 3, 2016
Justin Jay has been on an absolute tear this year. The dirtybird phenom not only announced the release of his debut album, Fantastic Voyage (The Album!), but he also premiered the first four tracks off of his magnum opus, which comprised an EP that has been released on Black Butter Records. As Justin’s Fantastic Voyage tour, which brought SoCal house party vibes all over the world, is starting to wrap up, he’s ramping up the releases again, and he’s starting with the second EP, or part, of his album on Jimpster’s Freerange Records imprint. The two-track EP leads off with “I See You,” an eight-minute track featuring Josh Taylor and Ulf Blonde that takes listeners on a journey through the underground, as Justin lays down a house backbone bolstered by a synth-driven melody and heavy bass kicks. The second track, “Indecision,” is yet another showcase of Justin Jay’s creative genius, as it feels like a tune more fitting for an 80s jazz lounge than a dance imprint, but still displays an undeniable groove. Check out the full EP above.
