Not sure if I believe the “freestyle” claims at the the beginning of the track, but Dubby has put together a solid track nonetheless. Look out for his upcoming project “tha Leak” which will be a 10 song EP.

With the release of Cole World: The Sideline Story creeping up on us, J. Cole just delivered some big news. In an effort to promote the album, Cole will be releasing some new material every Sunday. For the first week J. Cole released a 5 track EP, but before you jump out of your chair with excitement let me remind you that you may have heard a few of these tracks before. Nonetheless this is a treat and a tease for all hip-hop fans. Below is some commentary from the man himself. Cole World, September 27th.

This new Tiesto remix is going to be a banger. It shows his continuing transition away from being only a Trance DJ and branching out more to House and other forms of electronic music. This has angered a lot of people who think he is selling out and not staying with what made him so great. Here is some quality soft dubstep with some glitch influences for your Sunday. Guttstar recently released his 4 song EP Catch A Drift with creative melodies and synth lines, great heavy bass and quality dubstep all the way through. I posted all the songs individually, as well as the whole EP as one file.

That Spencer & Hill preview is such a tease for what will be an amazing song releasing August 2. Stars Above continues to create tracks that have that smooth summer vibe to them. The synth and bass just keep you going throughout the song with a smooth balance of builds and drops.

He also does fire podcasts that include some great progressive house, mashups and heavier house and electro tunes. Perfect for raging to forget about that shitty internship you have. I like what Bassnectar is doing right now. To build up “Divergent Spectrum” (Drops August 2nd), he releases one radio edit a week. Which makes me even more impatient for the EP. This new radio edit is much better than “Upside Down,” it has really got me moving.

Electro | Introducing: Vodge Diper

I would like to introduce to you all Vodge Diper, an up and coming artist/producer currently living in South Korea, but born in England. He has a musical background with guitar and bass and that is evident in his music. His synth work is up there with the best right now and the sky is the limit for this guy. He is being supported by Gareth Emery and Spencer & Hill among many DJs. His songs vary from dubstep to dutch to a more upbeat house song that will have a minute and a half guitar solo that blows your mind away. He just released an EP on Beatport so support this man.
