Passerine just dropped “Undergrowth” — a beautiful combination of electronic as well as orchestral elements, fitted with beautiful vocals that make it a track you must listen to today. Passerine’s vocalist and songwriter Phoebe said, “I think the song encapsulates that feeling of wanting to go back to the beginning of a relationship and that feeling of when you look back on a relationship at it’s end, how things often look better in hindsight. The good times become better. You yearn for them. You forget the bad stuff. The reasons you left. But in reality, everything must end.” The thought provoking lyrics and intricate instrumentals give a taste for their EP set to be released early 2017. Check out “Undergrowth” now!

With their recent project, an official remix EP for Adult Swim’s David Liebe Hart, NFG dished out three remixes in From The Hart. You might recognize David Liebe Hart from shows like Tim & Eric, as well as Check It Out with Dr. Steve Brule, and you may recognize No Funks Given from our previous coverage of their work. Together, they are a match made in heaven. Each remix shares a different style, but both “Rap Music” and “La Rent Doesn’t Want Me To Look At Porn” both share some similar sounds. Techno | AGLORY Dive Deep Into The Darkness With MORT EP

AGLORY is world-renowned for their dark beats and unique brand. They’ve worked with the similarly blackened imprint Kannibalen Records before, but now the French duo have partnered with them on a solo EP. MORT is the project, packed with four singles that echo underground sounds that techno enthusiasts love to boast about. Only, AGLORY puts their own spin on everything they do, which is what sets this EP apart from a lot of the comparable records coming out. Each track is its own journey, taking the listener on a dreary ride through industrial basslines and savage soundscapes. If you’re a fan of techno, things don’t get much better than this EP. AGLORY and Kannibalen make the perfect match on this project, and we hope to see them together again soon.

Dubstep | Brig Expanding On Pirate Bass Music With New EP “Summer Melancholy”

Posted by on September 15, 2016

Brig is one of the most underrated artists in the bass game. He has been around for a while, has made several EP’s, has songs that take you to a new place, but hasn’t really hit the next level tear where you become a household name. Let’s change that.

Not sure what’s stopping him, but this guy has got it. Brig’s new EP will rock your socks off, containing a perfect balance of sounds that any bass head would like, and some that will flat-out surprise them.
