Mashups, Videos | Middy’s Mashups
Posted by Middy on September 7, 2011
This bootleg was played during Arty’s set at Electric Zoo is absolutely insane (this is from a different show, that other video was blocked), I envy you Gmoney and Biglife. I do not know if this is something that he put together for his sets or if this is something that is actually a bootleg that will be released at some point in the future. If it ever is released, you can be sure that we will have it for you. I am sure all of you watched the Swedish House Mafia performance at the iTunes Festival and know the bootleg they did of “Calling” with the Max C vocals from Axwell’s “I Found You”. The vocals work perfectly for “Calling” and DJ Mogill put it together.
Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso feat. Axwell – I Found U Calling (Mogill Bootleg) by freshnewtracks
This bootleg of the Prutata and Koko is amazing. it has been getting massive support from DJs all over the world and is being played at all sorts of festivals. The transitions are great and they just mesh so well together.

Mashups | Nammo – Stereo Calling
Posted by Mach on September 6, 2011
When Nammo first sent me this, I was almost speechless. This mashup is a true work of art. The vocals from “Stereo Love” work perfectly with the breakdowns and buildups of the new, Electric Zoo anthem, “Calling.” Expect more great things from Nammo for the near future.

Hip-Hop | J. Cole – Neverland
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 5, 2011
Electric Zoo slowed us down a bit, but don’t fret we are back in business (more on the Zoo later). J Cole released these two cuts in the latest installment of his Any Given Sunday series. Although I tend to prioritize the songs by ranking them in order, I couldn’t come to a definitive hierarchy with these cuts. I’m leaning a little towards Neverland, but after a few listens I could easily give Heavy the nod. Let me know which one you prefer in the comments section.

House, Preview | Nervo ft Afrojack & Steve Aoki – We’re All No One (Incl. Hook N’ Sling Remix)
Posted by Middy on September 5, 2011
I originally wanted to let Nervo have their moment to shine, but this Dirty South song is just too good not to post so it has to go in here. Also the Nervo sisters are Australian, Dirty South is Australian, fun time. This video is from Electric Zoo. This song from Nervo with help from Afrojack and Steve Aoki is absolutely nuts. It is not like the previous collaboration between Steve Aoki and Nervo on “The Way We See The World”, “We’re All No One” has more synth, piano and more beautiful vocals from the Aussie sisters. The first mix is something Nervo previewed a while back and provided huge anticipation for this song with their “NERVO Goes To Paris Remix”. The Hook N’ Sling remix takes this song to a level that is out of this world. It is incredible, everything is just amazing. Support Nervo and BUY the songs HERE.

Events | Electric Zoo: Day 1
Posted by GMONEY on September 3, 2011
Although things started off slowly, I forgot this isn’t the west coast where Fridays are optional, by seven o’clock the Electric Zoo fields and stages were flooded with raging fans. Getting there early wasn’t such a bad move, mind you, since we were able to familiarize ourselves with the various stages, their media pits, and of course, the food and beverage tents. The Four stages of EDM fury featured Tiesto, Moby, Benassi, MSTRKRFT, Rusko, Robbie Rivera, and several other mind blowing acts. The next two days look equally impressive, bringing in the likes of Skrillex, Above and Beyond, and Guetta for Sat and Armin, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, and Alesso to name a few. Don’t worry, if you haven’t picked up a pair of tickets yet, you can still come join us out there by purchasing passes HERE.

Dubstep | Little Jinder – Without You (Original Mix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 2, 2011
Here’s a little something I’ve been holding onto for a time like this as in I’m rearing to join the crowds at Electric Zoo but also don’t want to leave our beloved fans hanging. This is a fantastic vocal dubstep track that’s a little on the softer side, which is why I dig it.
If you’re at Electric Zoo be sure to tweet at us, Gmoney and Biglife are in the house!
