Remember Baby Bash’s “Suga Suga”? Well, it’s been revived by Robin Schulz and Francesco Yates as a cover titled, “Sugar,” and the Italian-born star, EDX, has lent his talent to it for one of his sought-after “Ibiza Sunrise” remixes. EDX has merged his signature club-ready deep house sound with the original’s vocals and guitar licks for a transformation that’s worthy of many listens and playlist adds. In the midst of this release, EDX is prepping for the release of his next original, “Belong,” as he continues on the road with his North American tour. It’s impossible to truly capture how impressive EDX’s career has been. Few artists in any genre have been able to stay relevant through so many dramatic changes like the Italian-born producer has been able to, which is an ode to his hard work and tireless effort. While last year was an evolutionary year for the Swiss beatmaster, this year has been one of EDX’s best. Releases like his “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” and his “Miami Sunset” remix of Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)” were both chart-dominating releases, topping the Hype Machine and Beatport charts, on their way to over 30 million plays together. Now, EDX is closing out his year strong with his newest original, “Belong,” a masterful blend of deep and progressive, that marks his return to Spinnin’ Deep.

EDX is a man of many sounds. After establishing himself as a major player in the progressive arena, the Italian-native producer decided to change it up last year, infusing his tracks with a deeper groove than his typical style. One of his very first forays into this new sound was “Breathin’,” which re-solidified the claim that his sonic redirection was a viable change. Today, the Swiss house virtuoso is back with the official “Breathin'” music video, which follows the story of a nostalgic, old man at a lake house. As the video goes on, it flashes back to the man with his lover, who is presumably passed away in the present, as he reflects on his lost love. Check it out above, and you can get “Breathin'” on Beatport or iTunes.

Swiss house mogul, EDX, has been a force in dance music for years, but 2015 marks a special time for the powerhouse producer. His remix of Sam Feldt topped the Hype Machine charts earlier this year, and his next remix of Spada’s “Catchfire [Sun Sun Sun]” followed a similar suit. Every week on Sirius XM though, he unleashes an hour of house bliss and this week is no different. Ranging from deep cuts from Stefan Rio to progressive mayhem from Throttle to the a remix from the legendary Steve Angello, we say this a lot but this could quite possibly be his best radio show to date. With the summer sun up high, this mix will be on repeat until next week’s episode airs.

Most artists prefer to spend a solid portion of the year in the studio, working on an EP or an album, and spending the rest of the year touring, but EDX seems to have found a way to marry the two successfully, allowing him to tour while still putting out stunning releases. He’s currently in the midst of his massive “Want You” tour, but he’s delivered a Beatport chart-topping remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love,” and now, he’s unveiled his “Miami Sunset” remix of Spada’s “Catchfire.” The remix is a two-faced monster – EDX keeps the summery vibes of Spada’s original untouched, but gives the track a deep groove, turning it into a dance floor heater. The remix is due out on July 6th via EGO.

Earlier this year, EDX premiered his “Indian Summer” remix of Sam Feldt’s modern day, tropical re-imagination of Robin S’s 80s classic, “Show Me Love.” Now that Memorial Day is in the rearview mirror and summer is nearly upon us, the Swiss house maestro has released his remix of “Show Me Love,” a surefire summer staple. On this remix, the veteran producer keeps the sun-soaked vibes of Feldt’s re-imagination and infuses the track with a groovy house backbone, making it perfect for a late night at the club or a hot day by the pool. Stream EDX’s “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” above, and snag your own copy on Beatport via Spinnin’ Deep.
