Chet Porter is by far one of the most unpredictable producers on the rise. No boost – every time I press play on a Chet Porter track I have no idea what to expect. This one steps away from the traditional “build and drop” formula dominating EDM airwaves worldwide. It starts off in an epic fashion and continues beautifully into another world. The vocals are utilized perfectly. You can’t classify this and that’s what I love about this remix and Chet Porter’s productions. It’s a free download and I highly recommend adding this to your iTunes playlist. Don’t believe me? Press play.

The Irish rockband Kodaline’s latest single “Honest” just got EDM’ed by UK producer Kid Arkade as he took it to big room territory for an official remix, and I’m a fan! Think Kings Of Leon’s “Somebody” club remix, on that epic arena rock progressive twist, perfect for your work out playlist! It’s a must listen!

Bass, Drum & Bass | Alex Metric – Heart Weighs A Ton (Mat Zo Remix)

Mat Zo - Alex Metric Remix
As usual, you really have no idea what you’re about to get into when pressing play on a brand new Mat Zo track – and that’s exactly why we have a bit of a broner for the dude. His bi-weekly Mat Zo Mixes (see Soundcloud) are the epitome of “Doin It Live” – this track confirms that Mat Zo isn’t about genre restrictions. Damage Control quite possibly was one of the best albums to put EDM onto its ass in the last decade and the producer/dj is showing no signs of exhaustion. He’s getting ready to hit the road and break-in his brand new label, Mad Zoo in the coming months – here’s an exquisite taste of what to expect.

Calvin Harris - Blame ( Sondrio Remix )
Sondrio is definitely a new name who is about to be on the map. Just like his Australian counterparts Flume, What So Not, and Ta-Ku, Sondrio is bringing in a fresh new sound in EDM.

I dont know much about the artist, but this Calvin Harris remix is a smash. Checkout the Free Download: Calvin Harris – Blame (Sondrio Remix) .

With an “EDM” landscape full of similar sound acts, Galantis is a welcome breathe of fresh air. Despite their branded over-night success, they’re anything but, crafting hits well before “EDM” was a thing and you were still in high school dating cheerleaders. Last night, Galantis premiered their “Runaway (U & I) single on #BetaBPM (to much fanfare) set to release October 5th. The offering serves as the first single to their forthcoming album with no release date at the moment. Release date or not, Galantis is the next big thing in the electronic dance music space. Grab Galantis’s self-titled EP here. Seafox out.

Elephante dropped off a massive remix last week of Dirty South’s release Unbreakable. This remix stands on it’s own and is defiinitely one of my favorites from the fastest growing producers in EDM. Make sure you keep up with Elephante and follow him on Twitter.

Progressive House | Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs W&W – Waves (Slander TomorrowWorld Remix)

TOMORROWWORLD

With the announcement of Kygo taking Avicii’s spot on the main stage, and the current lineup for TomorrowWorld, it might just be the most exciting festival this year, far from the redundancy of all of these other EDM festival linr upd! This year’s TW stands out in my opinion in the way that it’s supporting acts that have been capturing an online buzz this past year and building an audience, which exceeds past the online! Slander is one of those acts that we’ve been covering since day 1, and we couldn’t be any more happier to see them getting the recognition they deserve, so without further ado, here’s an exclusive TomorrowWorld remix of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs W&W’s “Waves” by the LA DJ/Producer duo! This is a must listen!
