The last time we heard from the kings of good vibes ACADEMY it was about 9 months ago when they dropped their sophomore EP The Beat Generation. While The Beat Generation was a phenomenal seven track EP, none of that collective project can begin to touch the masterpiece that is Panoramic. The Los Angeles based duo teamed up with Jackson Breit for a record that has all the vibes of Summer and all the feels of a radio hit. Stay tuned as ACADEMY and Jackson are hitting the road this Spring with William Bolton and Dylan Reese.

Always great to see emerging artists on the come up collaborate with others along the way. Yesterday, Dylan Reese released his latest offering featuring two other artists from his home state, Massachusetts. Hendersin and TJ hickey were exactly what the doctor ordered for this laid back R&B/Hip Hop track.

RnB | This Slow Motion x Trap Queen Medley By Dylan Reese Is Spot On

FNT regular Dylan Reese has been dropping some smooth medleys as of late giving his take on songs anywhere from 3005 to She Will Be Loved. Today Dylan drops off another smooth rendition, this time taking a classic, Slow Motion by Juvenile and one of the most songs played on the internet in 2015, Trap Queen by Fetty Wap. One thing apparent is the production is very simple and stripped down, but I dig it; it’s Dylan’s way of putting emphasis on his voice and the creativity on how he flips the two songs into one.

Hip-Hop, RnB | This PARTYNEXTDOOR and Bryson Tiller Medley Will Have You Making Babies

In recent weeks Boston R&B up and comer Dylan Reese has been releasing some phenomenal content. With a mix of originals, like his most recent ‘Miss America‘ and medleys such as this, Dylan has started to show he belongs in the conversation as one of the brightest talents in the R&B game unknown to most.

With a smooth, confident, yet, not overpowering voice, Dylan is able to catch your ear in the intro and brings the energy in when the snare kicks in at the 45 second mark. Around the two minute mark Dylan switches up to the tune of Bryson Tiller’s Don’t, a track maybe not known by all as Tiller is on the come up himself. This is another strong piece of work from Dylan and be sure to connect with him on Facebook and Twitter!

Hip-Hop, RnB | Dylan Reese Tells You All About ‘Miss America’ With His Smooth Vocals

R&B is a genre that gets lost in the shuffle, with EDM, Pop and Urban dominating most of the mainstream media outlets and blogs there is a significant amount of talent that goes unrecognized. Though, with the prominence of acts such as The Weeknd, SoMo, PartyNextDoor and others, some light is starting to get shed on one of the few genres that has proven to withstand the test of time.

Boston native Dylan Reese is one of the most promising talents in R&B in quite some time. Smooth vocals, incredibly original content and a work ethic that is required to make it in this industry. Dylan wrote ‘Miss America‘ back in 2013 but only recently put the finishing touches on the track with his very talented producer, October. This track really encompasses all of Dylan’s talents as the content is on point, the hook is extremely catchy and you even get Dylan spitting on a verse.
