This track is unlike any other I have heard. It is an epic mix of House, Trance, and Dubstep. I have heard many attempts at blending trance and dubstep, but nothing comparable to this monster. First thought when I heard this was, “I want to rage right now.” I hope this also fuels your need to rage this weekend. Happy Friday Everyone.

This week’s TBT was planned around one thing..raging. It was a bit hard to find electro and dubstep tracks that match the energy of Lil John’s I Don’t Give A F***, but you can’t really go wrong with the Bloody Beatroots.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Sev, without him you wouldn’ have this now. Say, “Thank You Sev”…..ok now to this amazing remix. Everyone thought the first leak from Skrillex was going to Voltage, well it’s obviously not, but seriously are tracks like this so bad. Skrillex really is incredible, there isn’t anything from him I don’t like. This remix shows that he is more than just a heavy dubstep producer. He is versitile, and creative. Stolen laptop or not, Skrillex is in it to win it. No idea when his new Album releases, but it will be incredible.

As a gift to the fans, Figure released this track that he has been playing at all of his live shows. I am a big fan of a lot of Oasis’ work, I was a little skeptical at first how it would sound with dubstep. My opinion is the dubstep compliments the vocal very well, good use of drumstep.

Bassnectar is the king right now. His album,”Divergent Spectrum,” destroyed charts, and was a huge step forward for dubstep. At his show last night in San Diego, he gave out a secret link to this mixtape, which is supposed to drop this tuesday. It is a mix of a few of his older tracks, remixed and mashed, including a few new tracks, and even a few tracks from artists he works with. I also find it funny that Bassnectar just dropped a zip of 11 tracks compiled that he has previously released free. You can grab that one Here on Bassnectar’s website. Best part is the fact that Excision‘s new ‘album’ drops tomorrow, and it is amazing. Only proving Bassnectar as king of dubstep.

Albums | Natural Disaster Remixes: Benny Benassi and Skream

My honest opinion, this track needed to be remixed. Although good, it felt like the vocals didn’t match very well with the beat at hand. Benny Benassi’s remix is better, but Skream coming in with an awesome dubstep remix made it worth while. Benny gives us a nice electro/house remix making the vocals clash a lot less. My final statement, these vocals were meant to be with dubstep, Skream is animal.

Dubstep | Love and Light – Playa Nights

Love and Light did it again, they call the style of this track “Black Rock Crunk.” Made for the Black Rock City 2011 show. I have never really heard dubstep in this style before, but I am lovin it. The intro seems slow and slightly trippy, but the drop is something else. Creativity at its finest.
