Krewella definitely has to be one of my favorite groups of rising stars in the dance/electro/dubstep/rage-your-face off scene, and I am not the only one who has become enamored with them. DJ Epic just dropped this epic bootleg which skillfully combines the powerful vocals from Krewella’s One Minute with face melting Skrillex dub breaks. If that’s not enough excitement for you, this track provides the background music for a behind the scenes video of Krewella shot by Young Wonder. Here’s what YM had to say about following Krewella for a day.
It’s not often YW gets to kick it with girls who have as much talent as Krewella. Krewella is a pop-dubstep group made up of sisters Yasmine and Jahan, along with their BFF and producer, Chris. Together in their trendy West Loop condo, they have been recording club bangers since June of 2010 and have generated thousands of fans. Not to mention the fact that they danced to trap music with us, which earned them serious points.

Dubstep, Pop | Silver Medallion – All I Ask ft. Shwayze

Silver Medallion’s “All I Ask” is set to be DJ Benzi’s first official release from his label Get Right Records. The tracks fuses of dubstep and pop in an incredible and the unlikely addition of Shwayze who is not known to jump on EDM tracks as much is a nice touch. The full single package will be available October 11, 2011 on iTunes and Beatport and will be featuring remixes from Mickey Fortune, Codes, Flufftronix (Luvstep), & Lazy Ants (Dr.Gonzo).

Dubstep | Break the Noize & The Autobots Remix Video, Distantt, and FuntCase

Modestep is always a great decision when it comes to picking tracks to remix. Break the Noize and The Autobots did an insane job on this remix. The video just shows how crazy these guys really are. The remix will be available November 7th.
This track has been remixed by many, however, I am not too crazy about the dubstep remixes. Distantt utilizes the ability Example’s vocals pride when it comes to adjusting them to work with the remix work he did. The synths are a bit heavy, but it seems to work much better, adding more emotion.

This FuntCase remix is absolute filth. It starts out as if a giant army of mechanical Huns (Yes, Huns) are coming at you. Then they hit you with a fury only matched in a battle versus Skrillex’s Mothership.

Two killer dubstep posts in a row? One hilarious totally non-related video? I’m coming at you from all angles here. That’s what you should expect out of BIGLIFE – swinging for the fences and hitting it every time with princesses making fools of themselves by acting like…well… spoiled princesses and soft-core dubstep tracks that get you wetter than soft core porn. If you like Example as much as I do AND dig dubstep, you’re in for a treat. If this isn’t your cup of tea I’ve thrown in a unique ambient dubstep track with no lyrics – mashup artists and remixers pay attention that could be a gem to toy with. In fact first submission with that (can’t be brutal) gets a post.

This chill-melodic style of dubstep is right up my alley. Sure, I can dig a heavy track but there’s also a time and place for tracks like this masterpiece from Blackmill. Keep an eye on this guy, he’s definitely on the up and up.

Dubstep | Zeds Dead & The Killabits – Bassmentality

Zeds Dead and The Killabits dropped their anticipated new collaboration last week on iTunes and Beatport and it’s definitely a must listen. It’s not too heavy, but has a great drop and a cool, memorable riff at the beginning that is easy on the ears. If you’re just getting into dubstep you should definitely check this one out because it won’t melt your face off, and if you’re a hardened pro you should probably still throw this into your rotation because I’ve got a feeling we’re going to start hearing it around. Download it on Beatport or iTunes.
