Prime is back with his follow up single “Lets Get Wasted,” an Electro-House record that wants you to get wasted with your friends. Expect a massive angry saw bass synth and and a tag line vocal “Let’s Get Wasted” that leads into the drop. This is the kind of tune you get wasted to at the club. and all of sudden things get blurry, but you can somehow keep your ears on the synth, making for that euphoric feeling. This is a must listen and support by purchasing the track on Beatport!

Preview, Progressive House, Trap | What So Not – JAGUAR (Preview)

Posted by on December 4, 2013

Didn’t really know what to expect out of this track when it first got started in my speakers, but once the ball got rolling, the drop blew my frickin brains out. It’s been a huge year for What So Not and this is the perfect way to top off the 2013 music career. It nicely full of melodies and hooks to please the ear but has a massive eruption of bass and extreme feeling that other songs cannot compare to. It’s a huge staple in his growing setlist for sure and still vibes to that signature What So Not sound so its a win/win for everyone. Look for this December 10th via OWSLA.

DO SOMETHING

Trap | Chief Keef – Hate Bein’ Sober (Dotcom’s Festival Trap Remix)

Dotcom-Hate-Bein-Sober

If you’re in need of a little pick me up on this humpday, Dotcom has got you covered! Just when you think the drop at :28 is heavy enough, 1:09 comes along and Dotcom delivers exactly what he promised; a heavy festival trap drop. While Dotcom always crushes it with his heavy hitting remixes, we haven’t seen him indulge in trap much. Keep your fingers crossed this isn’t a one time thing for Dotcom cause this trap remix is the definition of a banger.

Synchronice - Denouement

Dubstep has made me sad lately, but holy f^@k! It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way about a drop and Synchronice without a doubt delivered with the nasties. A big congrats to Sychronice for hitting 50k fans, and huge props with this killer tune. It’s an eardrum destroyer.

Flume & Chet Faker’s EP is just around the corner, and in advance of the November 26th release date the collab has decided to give us another enticing taste of what’s to come. Languorous vocals and a hypnotic bassline make this one a totally intoxicating wind-down-at-the-end-of-the-night kind of listen. And for what it’s worth, Flume just took to Facebook to declare that “What About Us” is the single track he’s most excited for.

So there you have it. The 26th can’t come soon enough.

Electro | Felix Cartal – New Scene FT. Ofelia (Lazy Rich Remix)

Posted by on November 21, 2013

Here is another great electro remix from Lazy Rich, adding to the list of great remixes of this song. I really appreciate that he puts a different spin his remixes. Although I can always anticipate that I’m going to get a fat, meaty electro drop, the presentation is always a surprise. The short lines of big synths during the build are very cool. Even though the drop sounds a bit generic, the little things make a difference for me: the wide, fat synths, the layering and roughness added to them, the pattern they’re arranged in, and the fact that it meshes so well with the interesting build. It doesn’t feel like a cut-and-paste remix, where the drop could have been slapped into any other song.

Lazy Rich notoriously posts previews of these big remixes, including all of the juicy bits that get you jazzed up for the release – which in this case will be on December 3rd. You can pre-order now, or just wear the sh*t out of the preview. Either way, I encourage you to get excited for December 3rd.
