I think it’s funny when people start listening to Chance and are all like “YOO have you heard this Chance the Rapper guy?! He’s so dope like all of his music is tight”. Chance’s reach has hit full effect and he is one of the hottest MC’s on the rise and I couldn’t be any happier for him. After Acid Rap and 10Day, it’s very refreshing to hear new sounds from Chance to hold us over until the next anticipated project. Home studio features a different type of Chano flow, that similar to Vic’s “Feel That”, and if it’s any indication on where his sound might be going then it can only go up from here. Something trill for ya’ll on this Sunny Thursday afternoon by Chicago MC S-Preme with visuals to his first single “Righteous” off his debut album “Goodbye Tomorrow” sampling Biggie’s notorious line “bitches in the back looking righteous.” Mr Music absolutely merked this trap beat, probably one of the hardest hip hop/trap beats I’ve heard this year. This is my first time hearing of S-Preme and he caught me off guard, I’m actually impressed, he’s got a dope flow, and dope lines. The track is up for free download, so get that! My friend put me on to Elephante’s debut EP “Pretty Lights” and it’s one of the most refreshing sounds I’ve heard in a minute. “Pretty Lights” is high energy electro-music complete with dope melodies, and chopped up glitchy vocals for the ultimate sensation. The EP is currently up for free download, and you’re not going to want to miss out on this. Elephante graduated from Harvard in 2011 and has been selling out shows ever since, working on his music, and is now ready to take the music world by storm. This is a must listen for sure!

Devin Miles is back with a new release “Slickback,” and this might be my favorite production from the Pittsburgh MC produced byAndrew Lloyd, that bass is just too funky. There’s no doubt this record is title “Slickback,” Devin flows slick, and stays cool with the bars, spitting vanity all while staying grounded over a subtle jazzy beat.
