Boogie Lights, the visionary producer/DJ/drummer and frontman of the dynamic 10-piece ensemble The Boogie Bunch, is thrilled to celebrate the release of his debut album, DISCO DANCE THERAPY.
DISCO DANCE THERAPY showcases Boogie Lights‘ genre-blending mastery across 11 tracks, taking listeners on a journey through his artistic identity – a sonic ethos influenced by house, disco, funk, bass, soul, and hip-hop. Featuring contributions from members of The Boogie Bunch—a rotating ensemble of talented musicians on saxophone, guitar, keys, soulful vocals, and more—the album acutely reflects Boogie Lights’ creative philosophy: by combining empowering lyrics and rhythms that inspire listeners to embrace the moment and dance through life’s challenge, Boogie Lights spotlights music’s transformative power to uplift and heal.
“The concept of DISCO DANCE THERAPY relates to the relationship between music and mental health. The album highlights a bevy of vocalists from The Boogie Bunch, including Denver’s soul queen DZIRAE GOLD, hip-hop savant Deezy Le Phunk, Shawn Dunbar (Hereami), and special guest Montel Moore. Boogie Lights also lends his voice to select tracks, supported by a lineup of stellar musicians: Rix (Ricky Feria) on guitar, Chando on keys/synth, Ty Piña on saxophone, Ben Suarez from The Hip Snacks on bass, and Daniel Colbert on violin.
This collective effort imbues an authentic, infectious energy into the album, resulting in a singular fusion Boogie Lights has coined Electronic Dance Funk (EDF) – a seamless blend of live funk and electronic dance music

Over the last couple of months Australian duo Midnight Pool Party have been busy working on awhole heap of new music that they plan to release over the coming months.
This week they are very excited to give us a taste of what we can expect from those sessions with the banging disco-house sounds of new single “ICON ENERGY”.
Fans of Dom Dolla, Fisher and Duke Dumont will be all over this one as Midnight Pool Party focus on bring some club energy into their staple disco-inspired sound. “We wanted to go back to a kinda more disco chill vibe for the next single. Instrumentallywe were inspired by the Remix PNAU did for Elton John and Dua Lipa “Cold Heart”. We also were inspired by a fewof Dua Lipa’s pop songs. A lot of the production behind her songs have inflections of disco and funk and we wanted to make a track that was catchyand poppy but with a disco flair.Lyricallythis is a song about walking away from toxic situations, focusing more on yourselfandnot letting anyone kill your vibe. TV Noise and Jessame’s “Think” has been FNT favorite. We loved it instantly when we heard it on The Magicians’ “Magic Tape” series a few months ago. Released on Spinnin’ Records, “Think” is one of those feel good disco tunes that you play 50 times in a row, and still aren’t tired of. Sean Turk seems to love it too, and is back with the signature bedroom bass, putting his spin on the massive pop – disco banger.

‘Loser Like You’ is the latest single from Brooklyn indie-dance crew argonaut&wasp, and it’s also just the first taste of their upcoming debut EP, ‘Ha! Fiction’. Argonaut&wasp have crafted their own unique indie-dance blend with elements of disco, dance and a whole lot of funk. This song represents the struggle between the underdog and the bully, and it shows through the course of the track.
