Dubstep, Trap | Astronomar Creates One Hell Of A Banger With “Run It”
Posted by VMan on September 23, 2016
astronomar is a widely supported artist. Skrillex, Diplo, and so many more have been all over his music for years. Back in the day, his remix Wax Motif & Neoteric’s “We Go Deep” was just everywhere. More recently, Marlon Lumba aka astronomar has released on OWSLA, Ministry of Sound, and BNR Trax, as well as started his own label Main Course, which features it’s own bunch of unique songs, mostly hard stuff.
Today, astronomar has released an original entitled “Run It.” The tune has more of a mysterious side, but there’s no beating around the push when it comes to the power of this tune, this one is a banger. “Run It” features a classic 2016 dubstep/trap hybrid drop but pushed to the limit, plus so much more.
astronomar talent has longevity, he’s has carved out a chunk of the scene all for himself and his keeping it.

Canadian producer Chet Porter’s recent release “Tbh Ily” was an uplifting, melodic masterpiece with its wistful poppy electronica appeal. In an effort to further add to the track’s ethereal ambience, French newcomer Kidswaste adds his own personalized touch to the original, resulting in a beautiful rendition that has us wanting more. Kidswaste has been gaining a lot of praise in the last year with his meditative, melancholic sound, gaining support from some of the biggest producers in the game such as Skrillex, Martin Garrix, and Diplo. With his latest endeavor, Kidswaste takes Chet Porter’s “Tbh Ily” and syncs his own timid vocals alongside a beautiful concoction of easy-going guitar licks, assorted percussion, and smooth-backing synths, taking listeners on a contemplative, dream-like journey.

Sean Will really brought the heat on this one! Pairing up with 40 Cobras (who recently produced a hit single for Pitbull) the two put some major tropical house influence on Diplo’s “Don’t Walk Away” but not your typical trop house sound, they’ve actually coined their own new sub-genre: tropical bass. Summer vibes are sprinkled all throughout this flip, so even if it is extremely cold wherever you are, turn this one up and picture a sunny day in the summertime!
