D-Why aka David Morris uses Canadian indie band Yukon Blonde to create this unique hip-hop alterno piece. Definitely not your average hip hop song, there are no biddies in cars or hustlers. It’s more philosophical than it is pimp, but I’ve been needing a good dosage of this. A great chill jam, give it a whirl.

Huge electro/moobahton remix from the all star of it all himself, Dillion Francis. Still not sure how I feel about the whole moobahton movement but Dillion Francis is definitely making a name for himself with these big synth tracks.

Stiver Ryx dropped this mashup of Jay-Z’s Dirt Off Your Shoulder and Flux Pavilion’s remix of DJ Fresh’s Gold Dust in my inbox the other day, and it has definitely grown on me. The straight up passion that Flux Pavillion puts into their riffs melds perfectly with the laid back lyricism of Jay-Z…its hard to explain, just listen.

Electro | David Guetta ft Usher – Without You (Lyrakill Remix)

It’s an understatement to say that Nothing But The Beat was one of the most anticipated electronic releases of the fall. Overall, I think that Guetta managed to deliver yet another smash album that deftly blends the art of electro with chart topping pop vocals. Even so, a few of the releases were begggging to be remixed. Without You is definitely one of those tracks, and Lyrakill managed to raise the bar on this already epic track. Check it out.

Being a huge fan of the original “Otherside” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, I decided to take the recently released music video for the remix and to match it up with the original song. The end result turned out amazing. I can’t decide whether I like the remix or the original more but they both definitely deserved the visual treatment.

Aria just dropped a this super clean cover of Jay-z & Kanye’s No Church In the Wild Off of Watch the Throne. Everything about this video is on point: from the vocals, to the production, to the pure artistic vision. I’m definitely looking forward to following Aria to see what she drops next.
