Previews of this have been floating around for a few weeks now, but the full track has finally landed. Coming off of the Re:Generation Soundtrack Album this electro house banger is by far one of Zedd’s best remixes. I hate to say this, but this one also takes it for me over the original as well. The melodies, build ups, and transitions in this track definitely all work together well to create a monster dance track .Finally Zedd’s signature synth sound has found a track that works well in its favor.

Skeleton EP is definitely the exact prescribed dosage of reality that hip hop is currently in need of, no doubt. Terence Ryan is solely responsible for all songs written, recorded, produced, and engineered on this EP. It’s safe to say he deserves full credit for this entire project, that I truly admire. Rarely do you see artists engaging in all aspects of their craft aside from a scarce few like J. Cole and Kanye. For that reason Skeleton should remain memorably fresh for quite a while, not to mention Terence Ryan’s worth pondering lyricism. After hibernating for a few weeks, DJ Trademark emerged from his cave with some bangin mashups. I’m all over “Keep Me Waiting”, I’ll definitely be using that as party fuel in the near future.

This is honestly one of the best pieces of music that I have ever heard. Dylan Owen gives us this brand spankin new 11 song EP. Each song is a phenomenal story with beats to compliment Dylan’s flow. The emotion of the lyrics is what makes this EP so special, each song is just jam-packed with them, and that’s why Dylan is so good, oh and well he raps really good too, because it’s about real life problems and that’s what makes it easy to relate to. With a quality release like this, the sky is the limit for Dylan. So do yourself a favor and make sure you download this.

Hip-Hop | Phony Ppl – Phonyland (Mixtape)

To be honest, I had never heard of Phony Ppl before today. After giving them a listen, this is one of the most unique and interesting bands I’ve ever heard. Phony Ppl hail from Brooklyn and are made up of 9 group members. However picking a genre for them is tough though, they incorporate so many different sounds with jazz riffs to electro synths to laid back guitar tracks, which never seems to bore. Good verses on so many of the songs but then they switch it up and hit you with some R&B. This is the type of music that I really appreciate because so much thought and time went into this, 3 years to be exact. This is definitely a Must Download. Even if you don’t like it, it’s worth it to check out and appreciate these guys’ artistic ability. Check out their Facebook Here.

Girl Fire, Pop | Dev ft. Timbaland-Don’t Hurt

This is Far-East-Movement-meets-Kreayshawn with a verse drop by Timbaland. Definitely the most unfinished sound Dev has released, but I can see it catching on to main stream charts. I didn’t like it the first (or second) time I heard it, but by the third time I was beep booping to the beat, like embarrassing hairbrush in front of the mirror beep booping.
House | Nima Nesta & Marco G Ft. Stephen Pickup – Only Human

Wow, this is quite the freebie house track from Miami’s own Nima Nesta and Marco G. Stephen Pickup comes in on the track with some amazing vocals written by writing legends of house and electro, Tara Mcdonald and Nicole Jenkinson. It’s one thing when an artist drops a great remix, but it is a whole other story when an artist releases a free original that knocks you off your feet. It was definitely a great day in music releases.
