Dubstep | Destroid – Raise Your Fist (PatrickReza Remix)

Destroid - Raise Your Fist (PatrickReza Remix)Destroid’s new EP didn’t wow me, but this is the heaviest track I have heard from PatrickReza. Sev and I have been talking a lot about Neuro-hop and how it is sneaking its way onto the bass scene. I never imagined PatrickReza doing a track like this, but it gives me hope for the rising genre. Definitely a killer remix, hope it places in the remix competition.

Notable Miami based producer Henrix teamed up with newcomer Darmon to remix the Capital Cities hit song “Safe and Sound”. Following the same sound as his collaborations with Jakob Liedholm, this remix strays from his hard hitting style and goes for the more uplifting approach. The result is a track that is definitely worth a listen.

House, Review | Stars Above – Higher Than The Sky EP

Stars Above - Higher Than the Sky EPhttps://mycookbook-recept.ru/ Above is always serenading me with his touch of Trance on his House tracks. it has been well over 18 months since Stars Above was able to release an original production, but he is now here with two epic tracks. Every time I hear a new tune from Stars Above I imagine myself under a massive tent, then I turn up my volume and get lost in the music. His title track, “Higher Than The Sky” makes me want to throw my arms in the air that high. The second drop breaks into an awesome dance vibe, something to make any big room just lose it. “Daybreak” wakes me up, seriously, it has been my alarm for a few days now and I love it. It is the perfect progression for lightening my mood from “I can’t believe I actually have to get out of bed this morning”. Out of the two, “Daybreak” is definitely my favorite, I am just a sucker for piano and Stars Above delivered.

Indie, Progressive House | Phoenix – Trying To Be Cool (The Chainsmokers Remix)

Much like the overweight girl with a great personality, The Chainsmokers have, for the most part, been ignored. Ignored by unattractive girls and the aforementioned overweight girl that is, because they know they have no chance with these guys. Damn they’re attractive. I haven’t actually seen them, except in my dreams, but I imagine with their multiple 100k plus played tracks on Soundcloud that it would be so. Continuing their trend of remixing indie bands, the duo have decided to take a spin at remixing Phoenix’s “Trying To Be Cool”. If you know of The Chainsmokers then you know what to expect from this. A fun, upbeat song with a hint of both house and indie. They have definitely done this track justice, with this possibly being better than the original.

Dubstep, Glitch | Daniel Ryan – Nagasaki

NagasakiIt was actually my girlfriend that showed me this incredible track. It is a flawless blend of Japanese Folk and Glitch-hop, definitely one of the more creative blends I have seen. The track gives off a great smooth, melodic vibe, even considering the Glitch-hop. Tip my cap to you Daniel Ryan for a job well done.
