Preview, Progressive House | Henrix – Rock This Dream EP (Preview)
Posted by Middy on April 3, 2013
Henrix, still riding high on the success of one of the tracks of the year thus far, “Hit It” is not sitting on his laurels, as we saw with his Miami Heaters Vol 2 EP, and it now getting set to release another 3 track EP, this time on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records. One of the guys who has been there since the beginning, Laidback Luke reaps the benefits by signing “Rock This Dream”, which has been near the top of the DMC Buzz Chart for quite some time now, as well as the second Henrix & Jakob Liedholm collab “Losing My Mind” and a new original “Viral”. The EP is going to be massive and if superman Laidback Luke is waking up with “Rock This Dream” in his head, you know it is going to be huge. April 8th is the date to mark for the release. Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Von La’Flare – Leaders Never Follow (Mixtape)
Posted by dshaq on March 21, 2013
After premiering his track the other day, we finally get the new mix tape from Von La’Flare. While he is still a young new artist, Von shows great promise with his flow. Von’s trap catered sound is a little raw but the tape is still a great listen. Click here to grab the tape or stream it below.
Bass, RnB | Atu Ft. Sango – The Duo
Posted by W8 on March 18, 2013
Mmm. So good. Atu being a romantic bass head contrived with Sango can only mean good. ”The Duo” acts as Atu’s first single off ”Pictures on Silence” that is set to release March 22nd, and will surely have a plentiful strain of delicious beats like this one. And lastly a random thought spurred into mind about a post from last year that reminded me of this track, and so if you like what you hear and want to continue feel free to click here and check that also.

Events, Review | Dirty South @ Lavo NYC 1/17/12 (Review)
Posted by Middy on February 2, 2013
Though this was last month, I still have some pretty vivid memories of this night. The standard crowd of good looking upper crust mid twenties New Yorkers, expensive alcohol flowing like the Niagara and Dirty South spinning his brand of big room house behind the decks. Walking up to the high end New York Club I saw the familiar scene of people trying to negotiate the strict line — the people attempting to get in on the left side with either a ticket or just the hope that their looks or money would woo the bouncers to let them by that red felt rope and the right side filled with VIPs and their hangers on willing to drop their’s or daddy’s credit card on a night they will probably won’t remember. I shuffle in a bit out of place next to those VIPs and eventually make it through the various layers of rope into the club. Click on to go inside with us.

Trance | Lights Above – The Route
Posted by Mach on November 3, 2012
What can I tell you about Lights Above…. absolutely nothing besides this is an amazing Trance track. All I know about who ever this is that they have about 13k follows on a Soundcloud account with only this track. No name, no Facebook, no Twitter, and Miami, Florida. I have a feeling I will find out soon enough after this post. With all that said, this is old school Trance styling, a simple yet elegant style and it is incredible. Click play, and turn your head to the Lights Above.
UPDATE: Well Lights Above removed this track, he did happen to send me a message thanking me for the post. He/she is very mysterious and already has a new track uploaded. Definitely someone worth following.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Huey Mack & Mike Stud – Like That [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on September 17, 2012
Huey Mack and Mike Stud release a new video for “Like That” off their joint mixtape Click. It features footage shot by Dan Gotti of their huge free show in Cincinnati at Fountain Square. It’s crazy to see how far these guys have come from doing shows with barely anyone there, to headlining a crowd of 2500+. I’m looking forward to their next video they just shot in LA that features Mod Sun & Riff Raff. I’ve heard some of the song and believe me, its going to be awesome. In the meantime follow Mike & Huey on Twitter!
