Chill | Banzo Turns Anne-Marie’s Heavy Into A Pop House Hit

Posted by on November 17, 2017

Norway’s Banzo is a brand new artist that seems to be off to quite a start with his first release, an official remix for Annie-Marie’s “Heavy.” The dance pop style takes root as it’s reinforced with disco elements throughout. Elegantly building into a blend of disco and future inspired drops. Enjoy this upbeat, tropical remix as it defines the production capabilities that Banzo has.

Chill | A&G Return With Chill Cover of Drake’s “Too Good”

Posted by on November 15, 2016

I remember A&G back in the day, this duo slayed it with their catchy powerful house remixes that still give me nostalgia chills to this day. I was curious about what happened to them, they sort off fell off the map, but now are back – so what happened in-between?

Sadly one of the brothers received the news that cancer was found, so a more than expected break was taken as they figured out what they both should do next.

The battle is still on, but dance music is more important to these two, A&G have dropped their first release since then, a remix of Drake”s “Too Good” a chill remix that fits with the times and is definitely fire.

Chill | Azles and Cathalyst’s “Invincible” Takes You A Spiritual Chill Journey

Posted by on September 10, 2016

“Invincible” doesn’t really fit one genre and doesn’t have a single type of sound that you can pinpoint. It is an eclectic blend of so many chill sounds all wrapped up into one, you have to listen multiple times to understand what you are hearing – something fully original and semi-spiritual.

Azles and Cathalyst are not a duo, but collaborated on this release “Invincible” which is beginning to put them on a path of recognition. The two both have less than 2000 followers, but contain a sound that you’d expect someone way bigger to have.

Chill, Electronic | Hounded’s new track will make you “Feel So Right”

“Feel So Right” is the new track from Australian producer Hounded, teaming up with Californian singer/songwriter Bamiyah. This track has a chill jungle-house vibe to it, making it packed with emotions – both happy and sad. It definitely takes skill to create a tune that brings out such a wide range of feelings, and Bamiyah’s voice perfectly suits this piece. She said, “The records lyrics delve into the idea of believing that you are right for someone, and can make them happy even if they do not see it. It is almost a plea to a significant other to prove your worthiness.” Check out “Feel So Right” now!

Chill | MADILLAC’s “Guardian’s Dub” Is A Creative Change of Pace

Posted by on July 29, 2016

The only aesthetic that could make this track better is if some reggae vocals were stacked on top. MADILLAC’s “Guardian’s Dub” is chill and centers itself around real instrumentals, a strong flow that makes the overall experience pleasant, and sweet vocal melody samples that string the theme together.

Whats next with this producer is unclear, he hasn’t dropped music in 3 months but I wish he would. If this dude created a network of house producers who dig and supported each others music, focused more on finishing and releasing tracks, and was a bit more personable on social media, I could see this dude going far.

Bass, House | Bricks Breaks New Ground With First Release “Get Down”

Posted by on June 21, 2016

LA based Bricks is starting fresh.”Get Down” is his first release, showcasing a unique balance of electronic music elements that are new as well as familiar aesthetics layered. My favorite part of the experience is the light horn melody. Before you know it, the Diplo-style vocal sample takes over and the drop hits.

The style is different, kind of like a chill bass house with trap-like elements, hard to pinpoint exactly, but a unique feeling is delivered.

Rumor has it Bricks has many more tracks under his belt and will be release some soon. Keep your eye out for him as we get deeper in 2016.
