Freestyle | Dunson – Lord Knows Freestyle

Kenton Dunson just announced that he is dropping his first name from his stagename to be just Dunson. Along with it, he dropped a sick freestyle over Drake’s “Lord Knows”. You can definitely tell that Dunson is hungry to break out in the scene by this track. In it, he spits about his road as an artist and his goals for the future. His first single off his upcoming project is due out very soon. The track is produced by the Grammy-nominated production team, Phatboi Entertainment, and from what I heard, it may be his biggest hit yet. Stay updated on future releases from Dunson and help him regain his fans by liking his new fan page on Facebook.
“As matters progress, I have made the creative decision to continue my artistic journey under the name Dunson. This simply means that I will be dropping Kenton from the artist name. While it doesn’t change very much, we believe it represents a more defined character while allowing for a greater overall reach and impact. At this stage, I find it important to take the necessary steps to touch as many people as possible with what I offer as an artist. Dubstep | R Rated #10

Almost debated calling this R Rated, the VIP post. Considering how many sick VIPs Sev and I have gathered for this week. The first VIP in this post will surely stir up the people. It is transcoded to 320 and tops out at about 16khz, but sounds pretty sick. Knife Party stated that they would never release this VIP, so this is as good as it gets…and damn, does it get good.

AFK has turned out to be one of Sev’s favorites for our R Rated posts, luckily AFK has been dropping new tracks every other week. He should really do more VIPs because this one is filthy.

Third and last VIP is from an artist called CTwo. He is not a big name what so ever, but it was more that I kind of stumbled upon his tracks. He does a sick job, and this new VIP of his is nasty.

The irony of this track is that Sev introduced me to it, but he wasn’t a fan of it. I can see why someone wouldn’t like, then it dropped and I had a change of heart.
DOWNLOAD: Knife Party – Internet Friends (Poisound Remix)
OMG & Shockwave dropped this monster a few days, but it isn’t built like any other dubstep track. The drop doesn’t just happen. The bass synths are used in a way to accent the main beat of the track, happening in between portions of it.

This weeks throwback in my opinion is one of the greatest things Excision and Datsik have ever done. I heavily debated adding this to the dubstep essentials DJ Coman and I dropped back in August, but it didn’t seem to fit the rest of the tracks on the list.
Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Lazee – The Way You Move

Swedish rapper Lazee recently sent over his latest music video, The Way You Move off his recent mixtape, One Way Ticket. The track was produced by Ty Fyffe (who has worked with Drake, Rakim, Jay-Z, Method Man, and Busta Rhymes). Lazee reminds me a lot of Juelz Santana. If you’re not impressed with the video/track, just wait for the sick freestyle he rips at the end because I guarantee that’ll change your opinion.
Dubstep | Chuckie Who Is Ready To Jump (Dillion Francis Remix)

Dillon Francis’s highly awaited dubstep remix to Chuckie’s track has finally released. All the big names have been dropping this banger live and the crowds have been going nuts. Although Dillon Francis decided to change it up and do a dubstep remix to this track, there are still some moombah vibes. Overall something different and a sick tune to jam out to.

I have been watching this video all day long. The video itself is cool and creative, the verses are smooth and some of the chillest I have heard in some time. I like a change of pace in my hip-hop. Dibia$e & Versis are giving away this track to build up to Dibia$e upcoming instrumental album, SOUND PLACE, set to drop December 13th.

I am not sure how we didn’t have this track posted yet. I have been listening to it for a couple of days now, and have been in absolute love with it. Grubeats got me hooked on Logic’s mixtape, Young Sinatra. If you haven’t listened to it yet, it’s a revelation. This newest track of his is incredible, his verses are nothing short of the best and the hook is something to put you in the best of moods. Enjoy.

Hip-Hop | Friendzone & Main Attrakionz

Main Attrakionz mixed in with the production of Friendzone has really made for something special yet again. This duo has had the same affect on me as did Drake & 40’s So Far Gone the way each project is packaged so purely unique and timeless. Sure they may not relate but times change as do the fresh sounds we embrace, define as new, and evolve from.
Friendzone’s melodies are so incredible that the vocals tend to come partially after your ears are consumed by the lush atmosphere of his instrumentals. Its as if the beats take on a life of there own and feature the artists, truly a fascinating thing. In a lot of ways reminding me of indie how the vocals come across in a very dream-like kind of way, as if you have the option to make sense of them or not.
I’ve decided to keep this post strictly Hip Hop so I’ve excluded the tape from download simply because there is only a few tracks with vocals, and these three below are indeed the best of the best compressed out of it. Trance | Tiesto – Traffic (Tristan Garner Remix), Tiesto ft. BT – Love Comes Again (Hardwell 2011 Rework)

Here are two of the recent remixes of Tiesto masterpieces that were done by Tristan Garner and Hardwell. Tristan Garner took on the near impossible task of remixing probably one of the most known trance tracks ever “Traffic” and did it quite well. He kept those ever recognizable chords and added his own twist to it.

Hardwell provides a slight refresher for the Tiesto and BT classic “Love Comes Again”. The recognizable vocals remain the same, while the drop that this song is known for gets a rework from Hardwell that makes it refreshing to listen to. These remixes do not change too much, but just slightly change these Tiesto classics enough to make you want to listen to them again. Get both remixes on Beatport HERE.
