Hip-Hop, Videos | Aziz- Ode To Pete Rock
Posted by GMONEY on August 5, 2011
I remember the first time I listened to Aziz. He was part of a group at the time, and he was featured on as song called, “Tic, Tac, Toe”. The song quickly became a guilty pleasure of mine. He doesn’t know this, but even today I’ll catch myself reciting his verse like a wanna-be-rapper in my car. Yes, I am a professional in car rapper. No, I don’t care what you think. Yes I’m feeling myself too much right now, pause.
Anyways, here is Aziz’s third single and second music video titled “Ode to Pete Rock” off of his new mixtape “Daydreams of a Spaceshot” which will release on Tuesday, August 23rd. The single is an instrumental that was originally produced by DJ Premier for Das EFX’s track “Real Hip Hop” that Pete Rock later remixed in the mid 1990s. The video for “Ode to Pete Rock” was Directed Calvin Scibilia and shot in New York City and New Jersey.
As always, follow Aziz on Twitter and Facebook. Special shout out to Maxwell Zotz, who’s behind the scenes of Aziz’s operation, and makes things happen on a daily basis.

Hip-Hop, House | David Guetta ft Usher – Without You (Set Rip)
Posted by Juicebox on July 24, 2011
This was ripped straight from one of Guetta’s sets…we’ll have the final cut up once it drops. Exactly what you’d expect from a Guetta x Usher combo, a straight radio hit. If you’re one of the few sallys who listen to the radio, I suggest downloading this in a month so you don’t run your car off the road after hearing it 400 times on the radio. Usher provides the typical sing along lyrics that biglife and all the girls will be singing along to and Guetta comes through with that upbeat dancey instrumental the industry demands today. Look out for all of the remixes that will be dropping shortly, perfect vocals for all of these young creative DJ’s to turn this track into straight gold.
Dubstep, Electro | Platic Plates, R3hab, Feed Me, Mac Stanton | ELECTRO

Felt the need to share this video with you guys….take a hint from this dude, if you’re sick of traffic (particularly in LA) just get out of your car, blast dubstep and start….doing the robot? I just love how he continues the robotic motions as he steps back into the car and closes the door behind him. Classic.
Moving forward….
I have an ill remix for those of you Adele fans. Plastic Plates’ “Set Fire to Rain” Remix has received much recognition over the past few days. Some have even declared it the “remix of the summer.” I’ll let you decide.
For some odd reason, the beginning of this remix reminds me of an “Ace of Bass” track. Anyone agree?

Nero’s massive track, “Innocence,” was sick to begin with. Feed Me’s remix of it, however, may have just pushed it over the edge. I’m praying the upcoming producer will hit New York sometime soon.

You should know who R3hab is by now. In anticipation of “Prutata’s” drop, the track which R3hab collaborated with Afrojack on, download “The Bottle Song.”

The following song is a solid remix of Daft Punk’s “Together” track (one of the best off Alive). Cheers to Mac Stanton.

Damn, it’s good to hear from Eve. It sort of brings me back to the days of my “childhood.” Swizz Beatz has offered fans a remix of “Everyday,” or “Coolin,” by adding Gilbere Forte’ to the mix. Summer jam?

Hip-Hop, House, Mainstream Remix | Kardinal Offishal – Smash The Club (Ft Pitbull, Lil Jon, & Clinton Sparks) | HOUSE/HIP-HOP
Posted by Juicebox on April 22, 2011
HUGEEE PARTY SONG…this track is going to be everywhere. All of these hip hop stars realize the direction music is headed in and have been getting all over these house influenced beats. It’s one of those tracks that makes you want to crash your car when it comes on during the day, but get a few drinks in you, a few decent looking girls dancing next to you, and you’ll be screaming this song so loud people are going to think Lil Jon’s at the party.

Here’s the final cut that will be her official first single…I guess she ended up paying Diplo the royalties for this track…this is just going to be the first of many pop artists using house producer’s beats.

Dubstep | Flux Pavilion – BASS CANNON (FINAL) | DUBSTEP
Posted by Juicebox on March 20, 2011
Yes…yes….one more, yes. Dubstep fans, this is what you live for. Flux Pavilion, one of the elite’s in the dubstep world, finally dropped the final cut of this track. By far one of the heaviest and filthiest, yet still cleanest drops my ears have been graced by. Don’t disrepesct this gem and play it on built in computer speakers, get out your beats/bose out, turn up your home theatre system, or bump it in your car.

If you’re still familiarizing yourself with the term “Girl Fire” I suggest you check out the tracks below. As a guy its tough to blast these from your car stereo but sometimes you’ve just got to suck it up and let loose (especially on those spring/summer days).

Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Rihanna ft. J Cole “S&M (Remix)”
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 18, 2011
I wonder how much Def Jam had to pay Rihanna to sing about S&M (ps I know the original came out in Nov so don’t chastise me in the c-box, I never listened to it then). Don’t little girls like worship this chick? How awkward is it for them to hear this? And I thought listening to DMX drop F, B, and N-bombs with my parents in the car was bad…
“Its so good being bad there’s no way I’m turning back. All the pain is for pleasure because nothing can measure… Sex in the air I don’t care I love the smell of it. Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me.”
This just goes to show (like Em said in Syllables) all you need is a hot beat. I’m glad J. Cole hopped on this to make it a little more legit.
