Calvin Harris just dropped a massive music video for his upcoming single “Thinking About You” featuring the lovely Ayah Marar, and folks this video is legendary. There are actually two videos on YouTube at the moment due to a few glimpses of nudity, and a steamy sex scene in a private jet, so if you’re feeling risque and a nice pair of buttox doesn’t bother you, feel free to enjoy the explicit version. I’m still trying to figure out what the story line behind this video is, but nonetheless I can’t help but be a fan of the cinematography, and the epic shots… Oh and if you’re wondering who Ayah Marar is or where she comes from, she’s one of Calvin’s closest friends, and currently has an album out called “The Real” which I invite all of you to check out, as I’m sure we’ll be hearing more of her as “Thinking About You” climbs up the charts, and into your favorite Top 40 radio stations…

Michael Brun has been on fire with his remixes. From his “Your Heart” remix to his “Burn Forever” remix, he makes them count with each one. This one for Calvin Harris’s latest single “Thinking About You” from his record breaking album “18 Months” is no different. He calls upon his signature rolling synth chords and a soaring melody to accompany Ayah Marar vocals. Look for the release August 5th alongside a package that includes Laidback Luke and EDX.

Hodor. It might just be one of the best things you have heard all day. You may be heartbroken over recent events in Game Of Thrones, but this aught to brighten your day. Your favorite one-word-speaking TV show character does in fact do something else besides carry a cripple and say his own name all the time. Kristian Nairn, or Hodor, in his spare time is playing alongside the likes of Calvin Harris, Mylo and Scissor Sisters. He has played all over the world from Australia to South Africa, while holding down a residency in Belfast. He grew up playing guitar and piano, something that must have become a little difficult as a rather large person. His discography includes a remix for the Freemasons, which I cannot find on the internet, and several singles, which can be found on his myspace page (I know those still exist). He also is a gaming nerd, something common with DJs. Bonus picture of him with a cute dog. Here are the best sets from weekend one that will get you through the week to the second weekend. If you have any requests for more sets, put them in the comments. Making his return to Calvin Harris led Fly Eye Records, Michael Woods presents his first single of the year “Platinum Chains”. Michael Woods starts with fluttering key play and crescendoes into a signature big room drop you have come to expect from him in the past few years, finding a way to make good use of stutters without overdoing it. The UK producer has quietly been making tracks that have been staples of top Dj sets from several years now and “Platinum Chains” could add to that growing list.
