With his pre-album mixtape in the rearview, Sammy is working diligently on his debut LP that is set to hit stores in 2012. Into The Wild garnered great success despite Sammy’s brief hiatus, reassuring his fans he is back working harder than ever to deliver a chart topping album. Sam’s camp put together a brief video highlighting five tracks off
Boston’s America’s Boy’s mixtape with fresh new visuals to compliment them. In addition to plenty of new music, Sam is likely preparing for his spring tour which has not been officially announced yet, outside of his upcoming show at The Gramercy Theatre in NYC on March 16th. Stay tuned and be sure to cop Into The Wild [The Mixtape] if you haven’t already.

After touring for the past year and change, Sam Adams decided to kick things off this year by giving his fans what they’ve all been waiting for, new music. This 10 track free pre-album entitled Into The Wild is just a taste of what is in store for 2012. Special shout out to Sam’s DJ, Jayceeoh, who helped mix, cut, and master the project.

Sammy recently dropped the first single, “Blow Up”off his debut LP, since inking a major deal with RCA Records at Sony. A sprightly hook and verses his fans can relate to, Sam brings us back to the “I Hate College” days. Yes he has a fair amount of work to do to build himself back into the freshman that stunned the world with his debut EP release, but now with the proper tools in place I’m confident Sam’s going to be resurrecting his brand and reaching a new level of success. Sammy traced back his roots and found himself shooting this video in Allston, MA where he first started to “Blow Up”. Despite this being the first music video we’ve seen since “Still I Rise” with G. Curtis, this project encompasses every aspect necessary for national and international success and should kick start Boston’s Boy back onto the charts. No confirmed date yet for the album, but we can definitely expect a grade A projet in 2012.

First Round’s newest prodigy seems to be taking an eerily similar path as their original poster boy Sam Adams. Exactly one year after Bostons Boy tore up the USC PHI PSI 500, G Curtis stepped up to the plate to knock it out of the ballpark yet again. Having been through this game once before, FreshNewTracks is expecting big things from 1st round with G. Below is Sammy’s latest collaboration with Curtis (note: you can only listen to the song, please purchase it from iTunes HERE). Also be on the lookout for a G Curtis remix of Driving Me Crazy.
