First, apologies for all the purchase music we have been posting, these past two days have been insane with the amount of good releases. I had no idea Benny Benassi was even releasing this track today with all its remixes, god I love surprises. Control is an incredible track, Gary Go, the same man responsible for Cinema’s vocals, just perfected another cover. Benny in my mind is a legend, I have heard he doesn’t exactly put on the best live shows, but with tracks like this, I’m still a huge fan. The remixes for this track are awesome themselves, Jacob Plant and Ianizer & Lemethy with the top two remixes. I have started to notice Benny Benassi’s slight attraction to dubstep, if you watch some of his live performances he tends to make a few drops, including his own unreleased dubstep remix of James Blake’s Limit To Your Love. I definitely enjoyed this track and its remixes, worth the listen for sure.

My honest opinion, this track needed to be remixed. Although good, it felt like the vocals didn’t match very well with the beat at hand. Benny Benassi’s remix is better, but Skream coming in with an awesome dubstep remix made it worth while. Benny gives us a nice electro/house remix making the vocals clash a lot less. My final statement, these vocals were meant to be with dubstep, Skream is animal.

After hearing Pitbull all the time through the 2000s, I am a little sick of his voice. How could I pass up a sweet Benny Benassi remix though, and Marc Anthony doesn’t sound half bad on this. I like the heavier electro synths that Benny drops down on this track.

This week FNT resident DJ, DJ JurisDoc, was uninspired by the lastest releases in EDM so he held off on creating his weekly DJ Set. Even so, we managed to squeeze an EPIC bootleg out of him which feautures an eloquent mash of Benny Benassi, Axis One, and vocals from the one and only C Breezy. Dubstep, Videos | Cinema (Skrillex Remix) Music Video and Diplo & Datsik

Benny Benassi needs to make his transition over to dubstep already, it’s obvious he’s in love with the genre. He dropped one of the hottest dubstep remixes I’ve ever heard at Ultra and he chose Skrillex’s remix of “Cinema” as a second video to go along with the original. The video itself is a work of art, what more could you expect from a legend? Too bad Skrillex himself couldn’t have made an appearance in it.
Datsik doesn’t drop enough tracks in my opinion. I love everything hes worked on, but it never seems to be enough. Diplo on the other hand is a legend, the two combined gives us this sick new track.

Forgive any typos, I had four different sets of hands halfway up my nose yesterday fixing my deviated septum (insert clever Charlie Sheen joke here) so while I’m “recovering” on a couch today, all of my friends are on their way to Cabo. Sick. Anyways, I saw a little tweet about Laidback Luke dropping a remix to this gem of a song so I decided to put the team on my back (Greg Jennings) and post these heaters despite the fact I can’t feel my face, (insert clever Charlie Sheen joke here).
