Electro, Pop | Tori Blake – Young Wild Free (SPNCRxRNDY Morphine Edit)

Posted by on July 28, 2011

According to her bio, Tori Blake taught herself to play guitar at age 12 and has been practicing and perfecting her art ever since. Well it seems that this ridged work ethic is starting to pay off for this Orange County native..these tracks have some serious pop vocals that kind of remind me of Katy Perry. Hit up her facebook to grab the original versions of these tracks.

Dubstep, Electro | Rey Marrasquin

Posted by on July 28, 2011

Being a blogger is often a thankless pursuit…I spend hours a day hunting around for the newest tracks to fuel your fire and often times the only feedback I get are comments from haters who are ohhh so quick to point out my few mistakes. Even so, every once in a while something pops up that really ignites my blogger fire. This week that something happened to be a someone, Rey Marrasquin. Rey has been taking tracks that he has found on FNT and using them to inspire his artwork, and not only that, Rey has put together timelapse videos of himself painting thee pieces. I am no art critic but I do think I have an eye (and an ear) for creativity, so I can confidently say these videos are definitely worth a look.

Electro-House | Rather Red

Rather Red aka Tommy Raymond, is a 23-year-old musician based out of Los Angeles. Originally from Honolulu, Tommy attributes his ever-morphing style to his environment. “Both Hawaii and L.A. are very dynamic places with diverse populations. That open-minded way of life has shaped my musical interests to the point that I don’t dwell on genre, or even medium.” This open-minded approach to his art has allowed this upcoming producer to create some really unique and interesting content.

Dubstep | Millions Like Us – Don’t Let Go (Original Mix) | Dubstep

Posted by on April 28, 2011

This dubstep trio, now managed by the highly acclaimed Three Six Zero Group (home to Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Nero and many more) has produced some of my favorite dubstep tracks to date. This is no exception. They’ve mastered the art of finding filthy vocals and perfectly balancing them with a dose of dubstep (and dnb). If you dig “soft-core” dubstep, you can dig this… Oh and like these suckaass on Facebook if you know what is good for you.

Dubstep | Sander Van Doorn – “XX Booty” (Minnesota Remix) | Dubstep

Posted by on March 30, 2011

Remixs like this one are why Minnesota is one of my favorite dubstep artists. Everyone has heard “The XX” and the tons of remixes there are of it. At this moment none of the dubstep ones seem to be able to compare to this one. This track is a work of art and a must have.

Dubstep | Que, Vexare, and Manotti Da Vinci | Dubstep

A lot of people complain that a lot of vocals in a track is not meant for dubstep, but I have to disagree after I heard this. The vocals go flawlessly throughout the entirety of this track complimenting the smooth heavy beat with ease.

I have really been liking these well balanced dubstep tracks, seeing as many of them have been released recently. There are pure, hot vocals mixed with some fire dubstep beats. Works of art if you ask me.

Manotti is no where close to being a household name. This track however was very creative and worth the listen. Not going to lie this track is kind of repetitive, but the beat is some heavy awesomeness. Best part is at 1:20, its pretty funny.

Dubstep | NBR2 Ft. Moufy – “Lifestyle” | Dubstep

NBR2 are the winners of the Na Palm “Party Two Days Straight” remix contest. Moufy sounds SICK on this chill dubstep beat. The verses are taken from Moufy’s “Party Till We Pass Out.” The beat is a work of art on its own. After hearing this track all there is left to say about these winners is, #WINNING.
