Mix | The Interns Storm Onto The Scene With Their Wet Hot Los Angeles Summer Mix
Posted by Tay on July 14, 2015
As a fan of the 2000s classic film, Wet Hot American Summer, I had to listen to The Interns’ brand new mix, “The Interns Presents: Wet Hot Los Angeles Summer,” when it came scrolling by while I was on my daily SoundCloud scavenge. The LA-based duo of Toks and Colby have been steadily making a name for themselves with their feel-good brand of house music, as they’re coming off a second consecutive appearance at EDC Las Vegas after establishing themselves as names to watch for in the burgeoning LA dance scene. On their hour-long mix, The Interns glide through a number of their inspirations, showcasing the soul and groove that has come to define their music. Enjoy the mix, download it below, and see where you can catch The Interns live after the jump.

Progressive House | Arty – EDC Las Vegas Set
Posted by mimada on June 28, 2013
Listening to Arty is the closest I think I’ll ever come to the feeling of flying, which probably explains why I got a $400 speeding ticket while playing his Identity mix on a recent road trip (Texas cops are ruthless, mane). I don’t want to dwell on how upset I am that I didn’t get to see Arty live because this mix is just that good that it makes up for it. Arty starts this set out softly and compassionately, then sweeps you away with the Mikkas remix of “Rewind” and then hits you in the face with some Wolfgang Gartner “Space Junk.” I really lost it when the “We Are Your Friends” vocals made a surprise appearance during “Mozart.” I would do horrible things to have been there, going deaf at the front of the crowd, because my Logitech speakers are just not doing this set any justice, and they’re also not masking the sounds of my FOMO induced sobs. Next year…
Also, be sure check out this preview for his latest track, “Grand Finale,” featuring ethereal vocals from Fiora. Can’t wait for this release.

Reggae | Collie Buddz – Ganja Pipe

The Berme Gangsta is back in true Bermudian Rasta style. Collie Buddz shows his long love for cannabis in this short bit dedication to that “high grade.” He has been touring like crazy over this past year making an appearance at Lollapalooza and Ouside Lands. Collie Buddz is even featured on Diplo and Snoop Dogg’s upcoming project, Snoop Lion. This quick track is a great listen, even if you have never found yourself dabbling in the third-eyed dark arts.
Dubstep | Damien Marley – Welcome To Jamrock (AutoLaser Bootleg Remix)

AutoLaser making their first appearance on FNT and providing us with a killer remix to the one and only, Welcome to Jamrock by Damien Marley. I can honestly say for some reason I still haven’t got sick of this song. Staying true to their laser sounds and synths, but also making sure Damien’s vocals are still directing the track. Up through the first two minutes of the track you expect nothing to come from this remix, but I promise you the wait is worth it. Providing us with some sick laser synths and high pitch sounds during the drop, it is like nothing I have heard.
