After a few solid releases TJ is back with his best work yet to date, a new club anthem enlisted ‘Make Me Work For It‘. With production sounding like it came straight from DJ Mustard himself, Teddy Roxpin clearly hit the mark on the boards on this one. Following suit with his most recent single posted on FNT, ‘Treadmill’ featuring Alex Jordahl, TJ recruited Connecticut native Jitta On The Track for a classic verse to close out the track. Be sure to check TJ out on Facebook and Twitter.

Fresh off his release of Drinkin ‘Bout You, TJ is back with his best work to date. With an extremely good feature from FNT regular Alex Jordahl,  Treadmill tells the story of TJ’s experience in the music industry thus far and while anyone can relate this track to some aspect of their life, anyone that has been in the industry can really relate to this one.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Alex Jordahl – Go Away (Video)

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the young Chicago emcee, Alex Jordahl up here on Fresh New Tracks. Jordahl has been off at school perfecting his sound, and craft while we’ve been anxiously awaiting some new music. “Go Away” is unlike almost all of what we’ve heard out of Jordahl thus far in his career. The somber, heavily-produced track is a ballad of a lost lover and the trippy visuals add in a whole other level of depth.

I highly recommend giving the video and song a try, and let Alex know what you think!

DO SOMETHING

Chill, Hip-Hop, Videos | Alex Jordahl – All Things Go

I’ve never been a fan of Alex Jordahl. Something about his music just never spoke to me. His manager always sent his releases to me, and I always listened, and my response was always the same: “Maybe next time.” Well, this time, it finally clicked. Everything about this song, the lyricism, the beat, the video, make it a complete success to me. The visuals, done by 15 year old video editing prodigy, Justin Escalona, match up perfectly with the overall vibe of this track. I hope this song can speak to you like it spoke to me, enjoy.
