Pop, Videos | Con Bro Chill – Dance Thief
Posted by J_Salzer on April 4, 2013
These guys are absolutely insane. I know nothing about them, and I had never heard of them until Max from Aer’s camp introduced me, but their music is addictive. The video is hilarious, and the music is great. You can tell that these guys are having the time of their lives, and it makes listening to their music that much better. The beat is a dance infused, radio ready, banger, and the lead singers vocals remind me of an alternative rock singer from the 2000’s. Grab their latest album on iTunes here, and keep up with them on Twitter and Facebook.
Hip-Hop | Tyler, The Creator – WOLF
Posted by dshaq on April 2, 2013
It seemed as if Tyler, The Creator fell off the planet since we didn’t receive any new music and weren’t hearing about his crazy antics, but Tyler’s second album, WOLF, released today. As you can expect, his sound hasn’t changed much, but that is what we have come to love about Tyler and his music. I was very impressed after hearing his album. From his lyrics to his beats, I enjoyed the whole album start to finish. He seems to have a maturing sound to him with Wolf, which appeals to a way broader audience. Grab the album below, I highly suggest doing it. GOLFWANG
Hip-Hop, Videos | Cam Meekins – Inhale [Official Video]
Posted by LoffyG on April 1, 2013
A couple weeks back I presented you with Cam Meekins’ newest song “Inhale”. After accumulating over 35,000 plays via Soundcloud we now have the visuals to accompany it. Per usual, Cam helps direct the video along with Goodwin, giving it that simple yet authentic feel his videos comprise of. At the end of the video the album artwork for Cam’s upcoming album Lamp City flashes. If you missed it, you can check it out along with the explanation of why he choose it here. Catch Cam live at one of his upcoming shows in Boston or Brooklyn using the link below!

With the full court press being put on by Columbia hyping up this album all over the web and all over the world, putting up posters and slowly releasing small bits of relatively inconsequential information about Daft Punk’s 4th artist album, we can finally say we are the stretch run of the release. There are no names for any of the 13 songs, but you have the lengths of each of the tracks. Exclusive, Featured, Interviews | Jaytech talks opening vs headlining, upcoming productions & more in an exclusive interview with FNT
Posted by Middy on March 14, 2013
Anjunadeep man turned Anjunabeats Dj and producer James Cayzer better known as Jaytech is coming off of a year that saw him release his sophomore album “Multiverse” and cement his position as one of the better members of the Anjunabeats family. 2012 saw him grace the stages like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland, while touring the world in destinations like North America, Japan, Europe and his native Australia. He most recently released his track “Inception” on Anjunabeats Volume 10, one of the darker tracks on the compilation. After moving to Berlin 3 years ago, a move that has been “really great”, from his 2 year stint in London to be closer to the Anjunabeats family, he feels right at home making music that feels right.
We got him on the phone at his place in Berlin in between shows last weekend in New York and Slovakia and then back to the US this week for the all important WMC. You can find info on his gigs down in Miami and beyond here. We had the chance to chat about the mistakes openers make and how to stand out as an opener, upcoming material, how business is changing dance music and much more.
Electro-House | Afrojack – Air Guitar
Posted by Middy on March 12, 2013
After his rather poor attempt at remixing “Gangnam Style”, Afrojack makes up for it with a single “Air Guitar”, designated to be an anthem for this years Ultra Music Festival. Afrojack delivers on this intense track with powerful bursts of electro growls, distorted vocal samples and blistering bleeps with a small interlude to let you catch your breath before getting right back into it. On the heals of Tiesto, Quintino and Alvaro’s somewhat lackluster effort last week and Avicii’s contribution “UMF”, known to many as “ID2” or “Fire” or “Put Your Piano On”, coming next week, Ultra is pulling out all the stops, not only in terms of bookings, production, but also new songs for the two weekend, 15th edition of the world famous festival. With Afrojack’s debut album coming later this year, expect much more to come in 2013 from the towering Dutchman.
