The Geek x Vrv are back with the official music video for the name single off of their Origami EP, and we can’t stop watching it. The four-minute video is a stop-action type of film that follows a girl through a variety of different daily tasks that all of some sort of interesting twist to it. It’s the perfect counterpart to the track, which is a fusion of dance and breakbeat that perfectly shows off The Geek x Vrv’s signature style of production.

One of the best parts about Mysteryland USA, aside from its absolutely stellar lineup and even more impressive culture & arts offerings, is its strong tie to music history, thanks to the festival’s founding ethos’ as well as its festival grounds at Bethel Woods, the home of the original Woodstock. Mysteryland USA is a bit of a history lesson itself, as the Netherlands-based brand is the longest-running festival in the world, and Bethel Woods was the home to one of the most renowned festivals in the world. Mysteryland’s newest trailer for its 2016 edition manages to capture that exact relationship, from the old-school days of music, to the newer, dance-driven scene that is front and center at the festival. For fans of Blade, Black Tiger Sex Machine’s new music video for “NUMBERS” may conjure up some nostalgia. The reason for that is because this sci-fi music video is a reinterpretation of the opening scene of the 1998 Marvel film, although they cut out the blood spurting from the ceiling. BTSM have taken that scene and made it their own, in their own universe that they have been building with their label Kannibalen Records. The “NUMBERS” video pays homage to not only blade, but warehouse style raves that put dance music on the map, as well as a little hat tip to Star Wars by way of their own unique lightsaber. No words needed, this is absolutely amazing. Watch the video and know that Moosh & Twist are absolute winners when it comes to making amazing music. I watched this video twice, sat back for a couple of minutes and watched it a third time! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
